chapter 11.

It was friday. I had been hanging out with Jai and Luke and their friends, plus my own new gang consisting of me, Lea, Alice and Andrea. Our little gang had been planning a barbeque evening on Saturday and I was very excited for it.

When me and Jai came back on Tuesday, everyone quickly came to the conclusion we were dating, and it didn't bother me at all; rather the opposite, I was proud of holding his hand in mine. I didn't care about the whispers, and I was surprised to see most people happy about us getting together, some people even congratulated us. The exceptions were Jessica, Bella and Kaitlyn, who glowered with even more loath at me since Alice joined my side. And of course Jake and his football mates. Jai hadn't made our relationship public for other people than in our school though, he said it would upset the fans too much. And I knew was right, I knew perfectly well how nasty and mean jealous fangirls could be, so I was completely fine with it.

I was sitting daydreaming in English class when my phone rung. Jai was calling. I frowned. My teacher, Mrs Fields was really absent minded so she didn't notice me sneaking out of the classroom. 

'Hey babe what's u-'

'What?! Who would..?'

'No, I promise, never said anything-'

'I'm so sorry, I didn't want this to happen, who would do this to us...?'

'OK, I'll meet you at my locker' I said starting to walk. 'Yeah, English but Mrs. Fields didn't notice me leaving'

I walked, almost jogged through the deserted corridors until I finally saw Jai, he looked devastated.

'Lexie,' He had taken the habit lately to start calling me Lexie.

'It's all over facebook, twitter and tumblr, and it's pictures, and it's us, on the boat, in school..' He looked almost in tears.

'It's madnes, the fans are crazy, and it's not the worst part, they know who you are Lex, they got your name and everything, I'm so sorry...' His voice trailed away. I didn't know what to say so I logged in to my personal twitter on my iPhone, @alexrosieevans and I checked my mentions. Just casting an eye of it I saw five death threates, and I had gotten 20 new mentions. I hadn't noticed silent tears prickling down my face until Jai wiped them away. 

'Oh, they found me' I clicked to my time line and I saw my name was being repeted all over it.

I opened the picture, it was indeed me and Jai kissing. I gasped, this was at school, a phote taken of us this wednesday outside the main entrance. Who could've taken it..? As in answer to my question Jai spoke.

'It must've been someone in this school who've leaked this, no one else could've known..'

'Jai, can you please report me sick? I'm going home'

'You alright? I can come with you-'

'No it's fine, I think I need to be alone' he looked a bit taken a back.

' I'll call you later, OK?'  I added.

'I can come over? If you like of course'

'Sure' I said, kissing him sofly. 'Bye'

I walked home, thinking about what I had just read. People knew my name, and not just in Glenroy and Melbourne, but worlwide... I wasn't ready for this, and I was certainly not ready for all this hate. When I reached my empty house, I did about the worst thing possible; I turned my computer on. I read throgh tumblr, where cruel meme's including a picture me already was created, and the nicest post I came across was 'Leave boy alone, bitch' 

 I also noticed, especially on twitter how Jai was being sent a lot of hate as well.

"JaiBrooks1 thanks for dating a top model, it really boozes my confidence"

"Why can't Jai date a normal girl and not that plastic bitch, she only want's him because he's famous ugh"

"keep your filthy fingers off my boyfriend, cunt"

The list went on and on and the tweets were getting nastier and nastier, tears were yet again filling my eyes. Last time I cried like this was five years ago. I checked Jai's twitter to see if he had written anything. His last retweet made my heart leap with gratitude.

@luke_brooks please don't call yourself a fan if you're hating on my brother and his girlfriend @alexrosieevans who btw is really lovely. It's pathetic.
