Juliana's POV

-What's going on here!

I don't know why but I freaked out when I heard that sentence, even though I'm not doing anything wrong.

I quickly let go of her as I was holding her hand while floating, and I stood up...

-L-Lucho, what are you doing here this early?- Valentina finally spoke up.

-No hi? How was the party?- He said sarcastically. Ughh, I don't like this guy.

There was another guy standing next to Lucho, he must be his friend.

-Anyways, this is Juliana, you remember her? From the café.

-Ahh yes, what's up Juliana. What brings you here?

He's so rude, I just wanna choke him.

-Lucho!- Valentina gave him that face our moms make when we say something wrong in front of guests.

-Sorry, sorry. This is Sergio, my friend.- He said pointing at the guy standing quietly next to him.

-Hey, what's up.- He said waving at me.

-Valentina, can I talk to you for a second?- Lucho said while Sergio came next to me with my towel.

Valentina went to talk to Lucho, and I came out of the pool.

-So are you from the university?- Sergio asked giving me my towel.

-Nope, Valentina and I met earlier at a café... long story, doesn't matter. - I said sitting on the  cold chez long. It was really cold outside.Good thing the pool was heated or there was no way I was getting in.

-Ohh, never mind then. - He said laughing. I gave him a faint smile.

I looked towards Valentina and Lucho, who seemed to be fighting.

I was really curious about those two, about their relationship.

-How long have they been together?- I asked Sergio.

-About 5 years...Do you have a boyfriend?

-No, I don't wanna get into any relationship now.

-Come on Sergio, we're going.- Lucho suddenly said angrily while storming out.

-What? Already? Anyways it was nice to meet you Juliana.

-Oh same.

Valentina came and sat here next to me after they left.

-Boys! I don't get them, really!- She said putting her hands on her face.

-May I ask what happened?- I asked worriedly.

-We were arguing about how he always parties and gets drunk, we always argue, it's always like this with him. I don't know what's going on between us. It's been like this since my father passed away.- She said and started to cry.

I came closer to her and hugged her.

-Don't worry, everything's gonna be fine.- I said trying to calm her down.

-Thank you Juliana, I know that we just met, but I trust you.- She said looking deeply into my eyes.

I have this warm feeling inside my stomach. I've never felt like this...

-I-I have to go.- Ugh Juliana why did you say that!

-What? Already? - She said, you can feel the sadness in her voice.

-Yes, it's getting late and I have work tomorrow, remember?- I said smiling.

-Please stay, Lucho will stay at a hotel today, please don't leave me alone Juliana, please!- She begged me.

I really don't know what to do. As much as I want to stay with her tonight, I feel the right thing to do is to leave.

-Valentina, my mom must be wondering where I am.I'm gonna get changed and leave. I'll leave my phone number on your desk, call me if you need anything, okay?

-Okay then.- She looked really sad.-I'll ask one of the drivers to take you home.

-Thank you Valentina, for everything.

-Well thank you for saving my purse. You know, there were valuable things inside it.

-It's nothing really, glad I saved it and for that reason we became friends, I guess.

Wow I'm really awkward.

-Anyways, I'll be back shortly.

-I'll come with you, wait let me grab my towel.-She picked up her towel from the floor and lead me to her room.

Valentina's POV

After we went upstairs to my room, I gave Juliana's clothes back to her as it was folded in my closet.

-Thank you. Okay I'm gonna change in the toilet. Be right back.- She said

-No, wait!-I stopped her.-I'm going downstairs to get us some water, so you can change in my room, no one is in the house anyways.

-Oh okay then.- She said smiling.

I left the room and went downstairs, Silvina was no where to be found, Weird. Maybe she's asleep.

Anyways I started pouring water from the bottles into the cups, then suddenly I heard a familiar voice screaming.

It was Juliana!
