We lied down and stared at the sky, pointing out shapes and constellations. I remember that back at home, I never got a view of the sky like this, so it was great to see this pretty much every night, twinkling and sparkling just for me. It was quiet for about a minute or two, but Kyo broke the silence and asked me, "Do you know the story of how the stars came to be?"

"Yeah, isn't it the one with the hummingbird flying up into the dark blanket the gods put over the sky, and the stars are the holes he poked with his beak?"

"Yep, then the moon is the hole he made when he finally made it through the blanket, but then died after he finally made it. So the gods decided to put the blanket on every night to show the hummingbird's determination and honor."

"I always did love that story."

I ended up falling asleep outside, but when I woke up, I was back in the shelter, wondering how I got back. Kyo walked in with wet hair saying, "Morning sleepyhead. I had to carry you back here if you were wondering. You seriously are heavy though."

"Shut up! I just woke up and you're already nagging at me about my weight." Well, at least I knew how I got back... "I'm going to go take a bath in the hot spring."

"Okay, have fun with that."

I went and bathed, and the springs felt amazing like always. For some reason, I felt like this spring had magical powers. It just felt so incredible every time I went in, and I never wanted to come out afterwards.
