Chapter 12: something to shut you up.

MATTS POV:

After days of Somer constantly with Erin, she finally had time for me and Luke.

"Wanna go for a ride Somer?" I asked her. She looked up from the ground and smiled at me.

"Sure"she chirped.

As we headed over towards the stables I could tell she was beginning to get nervous.

"Ok" I said and stopped while grabbing her elbow making her stop.

"What's the problem. You haven't spent anytime with me or Luke lately and it's starting to annoy me" I say as her eyes widen.

"I don't understand" somer said.

"You understand clearly. It's like you don't even want to be around each other anymore.

Have I done something to make you dislike me? I mean I may have acc-" I was cut off by Somers lips pressed against mine.

It felt like stars exploded in my chest as I pulled her closer wanting more in which she kindly accepted.

After what seemed like mere seconds she pulled away.

I stared at her and the blush that was just starting to go away came back in action.

Her breathing was heavy, likewise.

"What was that for?" I asked her as I smirked at her.

She giggled and I wish that was my alarm.

"Something to shut you up" she said. She turned back around and started walking back towards the palace.

"Hey! Where you going?" I called out.

She turned around and smiled at me.

"We'll go for a ride tomorrow. I need to check up on something important" she said as she walked away.

I smiled and chuckled as I went to go see my horse Brax.

He was a standardbred cross warmblood.

He was black with four white socks and a blaze down his face.

I grabbed a carrot from the bucket beside his stall and walked in.

He walked over and gently took the carrot out of my hands.

I looked up to see Erin and Somer on Somers balcony talking about something to make Somer laugh.

I loved Somer so much. And I could still feel her lips on mine as I walked back towards the palace.
