I'm not built like a busy body
One of the most common excuses is time. No one seems to have any time in the world. We are busy with school, work, friends, family, hobbies, sports, clubs. The list goes on and on. So where do we find time to squeeze exercise into our schedule? I know a few excercises that only involve Me, Myself, and I and hopefully won't make you look like a complete lunatic in public.
Calf raises: These are simple but effective exercises. If you're waiting in line or standing somewhere, try doing calf raises. Go up onto the balls of your feet (as if you're wearing high heels) and hold for a few seconds. Then slowly lower your heels without rocking back. Do this a couple times (if you're ambitious shoot for a hundred) and feel the burn.
My friend was sitting beside me one day at lunch. She was slightly bouncing in her seat. Not enough to raise alarm, but enough for me to ask why. "I'm doing butt flexes," she said. "Its a workout for your butt."
You can do this standing or sitting.
