~Your PoV~

Sitting down on the couch next to Jensen, I just felt relieved. But when he placed his hand on my back, it kinda lingered there for a while, confusing me.

"So the first thing that went wrong today was that the lease for my apartment fell through because someone offered to pay more than it was worth. So I have nowhere to live, even though I put in for the apartment weeks ago. On the plane a stewardess spilled wine all over me, followed by some food. It began pouring rain when I got to the set, the receptionist was rude and told me that I was 20 minutes late. Then proceeded to tell me what happened to your last assistant." I started.

"Yeah, Beth was a great assistant. It really is tragic." Jensen said.

"If she was such a good assistant, why'd you fire her?" I asked.

Jensen's facial expression changed from sad to confused as he looked at me.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Linda, the receptionist told me that you fired her because she was 23 minutes late, and that's why you needed a new assistant." I replied.

"I didn't fire her. She was in a really bad car accident and can no longer work. Linda was just trying to get in your head." Jensen replied.

"You're probably right. I don't think she likes me very much." I said, looking away from him.

"Why do you say that?" He asked, pulling my attention back to him.

"The way that she looked at me... like I was a huge pile of human garbage. Someone who doesn't belong here. Maybe she's right." I said, a tear finding its way down my cheek.

Jensen placed a hand on my knee and used his other hand to turn my face back towards him.

"Y/n, Linda is a bitch to everyone. Don't ever let someone, especially someone like her, get in your head and belittle you! I know that we have just met, but I can tell that you are a great person." He said.

"O-Okay." I replied, wanting to look everywhere but his eyes.

As the day went on, the rain  died down enough for everyone to be able to go home, and as Jensen and I walked over to his car, I realized that I had nowhere to go. He got into his car and I just stood there, holding my bag of dirty clothes.

"Y/n! What are you doing? You're going to get soaked again." Jensen said.

"I have nowhere to go. Nowhere to live, nowhere to sleep, nowhere to do anything." I replied, feeling tears well up behind my eyes again.

"Of course you do! Get in the damn car before you catch a cold!" Jensen yelled.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"YES! NOW GET IN!" He yelled again.

I didn't need any more clarification than that. I got in the back seat with him and the driver began down the road. We rode in silence until the driver pulled up to a large and beautiful house, and we got out of the car.

"Same time tomorrow morning, right Mr. Ackles?" The driver asked.

"Yes. Thank you John." Jensen replied.

The two of us walked up to the front door and Jensen unlocked it, gesturing for me to enter first, so I did, looking around at all of the beautiful paintings of Texas scenery that covered the walls, and the amazing stone walls that went seamlessly with the wooden support beams and floors.

"Woah." I whispered to myself.

Jensen chuckled a bit as he walked up behind me, placing his hand on my shoulder again.

'Oh god. His chuckle is so deep and sexy. Uuuuuh.' I thought to myself.

"Do you like my house?" He asked as he showed me around.

"Yeah. I really do. It's absolutely amazing." I replied.

"Thank you Y/n, that's very kind of you to say.... although it does get kinda lonely here though. I mean, I frequently have my friends over, mainly Misha and Jared, but it's pretty lonely when they aren't here." He said in a sad tone.

"But, you're Jensen freakin Ackles. Literally one of the hottest men in the world! —uh. I mean, you could have any woman in the world, why are you so lonely here?" I asked as he lead me to the kitchen.

He looked at me and didn't really say anything, but I felt my face getting really hot. He pulled two wine glasses out of the cabinet, followed by a bottle of wine.

"So, you think that your boss is hot, do you?" He asked.

"No! I MEAN YES! Wait, no I-."

"Relax Y/n, it's okay, I'm just messing with you. Here." Jensen said, sliding a glass of wine to me. "Besides, it's not women that I'm after."

"Oh.... OH! Oh! Oh.... Oh? Oohh." That was all I could really say, and Jensen looked kind of ashamed of herself.

"Yeah. Jared, Misha, and now you are the only people that know." He said.

"Why are you telling me all of this? I don't mind it, but I'm just curious. And I'm only 17, I can't drink." I replied.

"Y/n, it's okay. We aren't going to get drunk, unless you want to. But I think we can trust each other." Jensen said, placing the glass in my hand.

"If you insist." I replied, taking a sip.

"Did you really think that I was going to leave you out in the cold and rain? I mean after we spent all day talking and connecting?" Jensen asked, changing the subject.

"Kinda...I didn't expect anything more than being your assistant if I'm being honest. But here I am, drinking wine with you in your beautiful kitchen in your beautiful house." I said, taking another sip of wine.

"If I had felt any different about you, or felt like you were a crazed fan, I would have thought twice about letting you live in my house." He said, looking into my eyes.

"What do you mean?" I asked, slightly scared of his answer.

"I guess I'll have to show you."
