This is a love story far different from the others, it will show you love, fear, and just how a few words could effect someone greatly. It is a part of my life I don't really think I'll every fully get over with. It will fill my eyes with tears every time I think about it, but I have to except it...
It was January 25th and there were rumors going around school that there was a new girl. As all the kids I was curious. I wanted to see her, I wanted to know all the details and such.
I got exactly what I wanted when she accidentally bumped into me and a pile of books collapsed to the ground...
Now you may be thinking this is just like any other story with the boy bumping into the girl and falling in love, but it's not.
I scanned her from the bottom to the top and moved along. Not exactly what you were expecting for the beginning of a love story, huh?
Which I do feel like such an asshole for doing, but this is just the beginning of the love story.
She picked up her books and frowned. I walked over to my locker and got out my essentials for first period while she scrambled throughout all the isles of lockers to notice her locker was right next to mine.
She slowly walked towards her locker and started to put in her combination. Her face was red. I could tell she was really nervous and embarrassed, which made me cut her a little slack.
After five minutes I started to notice she couldn't open her lock. I started to feel bad and I asked,"You need some help there?" I could tell by the expression on her face that she didn't know if she should trust me, but in the end she did. She gave me her combination and I opened her lock.
Her face was filled with surprise, which was priceless.
The bell rang, I scrambled to my first period, shoving nearly anyone in my way. I entered the classroom and went to sit by my friend, George. He was basically the most popular guy in school. I was his side-kick, which I was totally fine with, I was his side-kick my whole life and never had a problem.
We both got along pretty well since kindergarten. However, the girls at our school had a huge problem with being "the side-kick". They really cared about where they stood in the popular pyramid, not saying I didn't, but they just cared a little too much (or may I say a lot).
Each girl would fight over who gets to be in the front of the group when they walked through the hallway and such. They were in a huge competition, but the winner was obvious, it was Julia Barnes. She is the bitchiest person I've ever met. Her perfume is so strong that you sneeze every time she passes by you. Her clothing is so tight, you're frightened it might just rip. Her lipstick is so dark red that your scared she applied actual blood on her lips.
Anyways, the next period had a nice surprise. My usual seat was taken by Sarah and my boys were sitting in a corner with no empty spots, which left me with no choice, but to sit next to Sarah.
However, this wasn't the best day to sit next to her, because we had to do a project with our partner. The topic was global warming. This project was one of those projects in which you had to go to each other's house and research together.
I stood up and protested to the teacher,"You know I usually sit by George, so shouldn't I work with him. I mean the new girl didn't know she was sitting in my seat."
Mr.Demi was a pretty reasonable guy, but he just replied,"No Paul. Now please take a seat."
Of course I wasn't in a good mood, I really didn't want to work with Sarah, but I knew I couldn't do anything about that. Sarah and I were officially doing a project together.
It turned out that Sarah wasn't only in my second period, but also in my fourth, fifth, and sixth. I surely wasn't excited about it. Not at all.
