Eyes flashed in the dark, watching me intensely. The torches on the walls threw flickering streams of light onto the white marble walls. I am surrounded by the dim, warm glow. It sets a relaxing mood, I feel surprisingly at ease.

I stand, the dark sheets slipping away, and I found myself dressed in white. A layered, snow white dress adorns my body. It's breezy and flows with my every movement. Interesting, I think to myself.

I go to the doorway, praying that I find it unlocked. My hand closes around the handle, and I give it a turn. The door swings open without so much as a creak. Breathing a sigh of relief, I step out into the hallway.

The walls outside the room are made of marble as well. Looking around, it looks as though the entire place is made of marble. Stone pillars rise from the ground, forming archways and corridors.

I walk forward, my bare feet landing silently on the stone. I feel lost within myself, almost as if I'm in a daze. My eyes keep glazing over and I feel as though I'm being pulled forward by a string.

There are bowls filled with coins on the floor along the walkway, some familiar looking while others are foreign. There a dark totems on the tables and torches mounted to the walls.

A gentle breeze swirls through the windows, bringing with it a citrusy and sweet smell. I breathe in deep, filling my lungs with the divine smell. The sound of wolves growling filled the air, but there were no beasts in sight.

I make a turn, and there are steps that lead outside. I make my way down them, my toes connecting to cool blades of grass at the bottom. It's a courtyard, surrounded on all sides by the palace sized house that I was in. Sitting on a dark chaise lounge chair in the center of the yard was a woman. She had long, flowing black hair. In her hand was a golden cup filled to the brim with the darkest wine I had ever seen. Her midnight robes were like liquid shadows. On her head sat a crown of stars.

I gulp, suddenly becoming unsure of myself. What was going on? There were stars around her head! That's impossible. The woman takes a sip of her wine, her eyes sliding over to meet mine.

"W-where am I?" I ask nervously.

The smile that appears on her face is kind and loving as she says, "Precisely where you need to be."

"Who are you?" I demand, growing more and more nervous by the second.

She stands, crossing the short distance between us to stand in front of me.

"You will know me soon enough, my child." Her voice is like nothing I had ever heard, it was seductive and sweet and calming all at once. Leaning forward, she places a soft kiss on my brow. She steps back and begins to fade.

I jerk awake to find myself handcuffed to a bed. I'm no longer in a dress, but instead still in the clothing I was wearing at the mall. Confusion rides me hard and I yank on the chains keeping me captive. When it doesn't give, I huff in annoyance.

The door on the other side of the room creaks, sliding open as men enter the room. I rush of panic threatens to overtake me at the sight of them. I scan each of them in turn, my eyes narrowing when I notice Blondie. The other two are twins, their skin the color of dark mocha and their eyes a sea green. They were all gorgeous, but nothing compared to the fourth man. He was most likely the most beautiful man I had ever set eyes on.

He had a mop of dark brown hair and quite possibly the bluest eyes to ever be on this earth. He was all angles, with a pair of sharp cheekbones and a strong jaw. His naturally tanned skin was smooth and totally flawless.

Sweet Fudge, and look at those muscles! They're HUGE! I think as I ogle him shamelessly.

"Hello, I'm so glad you're awake. My name is Emir Lockwood, I'm the one in charge here. This here is my second in command Cole, and my thirds, Zaire and Zane." His voice is rough and sensual.

I shiver, my cheeks heating as he looks at me. "Tell me, why am I chained to the bed?" I ask him, my voice coming out with a lot more confidence than I feel.

"You wouldn't stop moving. Did you know you sleep walk?" He questions, eyebrows raising.

I groan and flop my head back onto the pillow. Of course. Of. Bloody. Course. Now even my kidnappers know I'm crazy. Speaking of which...

"Why am I here? Why did you kidnap me?" I question, sitting up to look at him. Cute face or not, if things get ugly and I find a way to break free, I'll punch him.

"Well, you see...we think you're someone...someone special to us." He says, looking confused as he tries to find the right words.

"Listen, buddy. I'm not gonna be some sex slave. So just let me go, and nobody gets hurt." I tell him, my words biting in an angry tone.

"What? No! Not like that! We don't want you for that. There's...this prophecy, you see...we think you may be the person it's talking about." He explains, clearly trying to calm my fears.

I look at him with wide eyes, gazing at him as if he's grown extra heads. Maybe all the good genes went into his looks, and there's nothing going on upstairs. Has to be that, the man is clearly insane. Let me tell you, coming from me, that means something.

"You obviously don't believe me." He sighs, running a hand through his hair. "We have a lot to explain. Cole, go get the prophet."

I watch Blondie leave, almost wishing he would stay. At the very least, he hadn't said anything crazy to me yet, which makes him the safest option.

He shuts the door behind him anyway, the other two going with him...leaving me alone with the crazy man in front of me.
