The Marriage - A Gumball and Penny wedding story.

Chapter W-1 The Proposal

It's a peaceful day in Elmore. Birds are singing, bees are buzzing, flowers are blooming. Everyone in Elmore is in a good mood, especially for both Gumball and Penny. They have been a couple since they were 15 (in the year of 2014) and it's the year of 2024, that makes them 25 years old. And now it's time for the greatest moment of their lives, getting married.

At the Watterson's house

It's currently 8:00 in the morning and Gumball wakes up. Gumball yawns. "Man, what a beautiful morning it is." Said Gumball. "It sure is" Darwin replies as an agreement. "Gumball, Darwin, Mom made us breakfast." said Anais. "We'll be there sis" said Gumball, as he and Darwin got dressed and put their clothes on and went downstairs to eat breakfast. "So Gumball, when are you going to propose to Penny?" Nicole asked. Gumball got shocked as he dropped his fork. "Uhh, I gotta.... take out the trash, BYE!" Gumball said as he rushed outside the door of his house.

At the Fitzgerald's house

Penny wakes up at 8:30 AM and makes breakfast for her sister and her parents. "This will be the nice breakfast I have ever made" said Penny. As soon has her parents and her sister woke up to eat breakfast, they were amazed of how Penny cooked all this breakfast. "Man a banana pie, you know me so well my chef." Said Patrick as he smelt the pie. "I definitely agree with your dad" replied Judith. "I couldn't agree more" said Polly. "Thanks guys, I worked so hard on this breakfast." Penny Said joyfully. "So Penny, is it the time you and Gumball are gonna tie the knot?" Penny was somehow shocked. "Uhh, I gotta head to the store. BYE!" Penny said as she ran outside of the door of her house.

Back with Gumball

Gumball was panicking while he's at the crosswalk in his neighborhood. "Man, what am I supposed to do about it." Gumball said as he was worried.

ring ring ring

All of the sudden, Gumball's blue iPhone XR rang. "Oh that must be one of my friends, Clemont from Lumiose City" Gumball said, as he picked up his phone from his pocket. "Hello" answered Gumball. "Hey Gumball, I just finished working on something really special." said Clemont. "Amazing, can I see it? replied Gumball. "Absolutely. It's called the Diancie ring." Clemont said as he showed his invention to Gumball via FaceTime.

"Wow, is that a real diamond? Not one of those fake diamonds with pink coloring on it, right?" Questioned Gumball. "Of course it's not of of those counterfeit diamonds, it's made with actual Diancie diamonds thanks to the mythical Pokémon, Diancie who helped me form the diamond into the right shape." Replied Clemont.

"That's awesome! I really need that Diancie diamond, because I really need to give Penny that ring to propose to her." Gumball said. "Oh, your package is at the front door of your house. I was wondering if you could see how the ring looks when opened from the package." Said Clemont. "Thank you so much for helping me out, Clemont. See you later." Gumball said. "No problemo pal. And bye." replied Clemont, as he ended the call with Gumball. Gumball was pretty excited at the moment that he can finally propose to Penny, since he has the Diancie ring that his friend Clemont gave to him via package. Later on, Gumball decided to call his girlfriend, Penny so he can plan the proposal.

Back with Penny.

"Man, I'm really nervous about today. What am I gonna do?" Penny said as she was worried.

Penny's iPhone XS rang all of the sudden, she picked it up from her jeans pocket. Looking at her phone, her boyfriend Gumball was calling, and she answered his call. "Hey honey." Penny answered. "Hello cutie." Gumball replied "You wanna go out sometime?" "I'd love to Gumball, which place do you wanna go to?" Penny asked.    "The Mushroom Kingdom Gourmet." Gumball answered. "Oh that's a perfect place to go. I heard the food tastes yummy." Penny said as an agreement. "When will it be the perfect time for you to pick me up to go to the restaurant?" "I think around 8:30 PM." Gumball said as he planned the date with Penny. The yellow fairy agreed with the blue cat, they finished the call with a kissing noise.
