Yejin's POV

Haechan and I went to our room singing like idiots. We passed by his friends along the way and they were throwing us confused looks. "What's wrong with you two?" Jaemin looked at us like we just had mud on our faces.

I shook my head and shrugged for no apparent reason. Haechan put an arm around me and dragged my away from the guys. "We'll catch up with you later at lunch!" He shouted and we continued walking to our room.

I paused when I saw Renjun quickly passing by us, avoiding eye contact as possible. "Renjun," I called him. I reached out my hand to grab his arm but he pulled it away. "I thought we talked about this."

"You're not changing my mind on liking you, Yejin." He said in a warning tone. Haechan was meters in front of us, far enough not to hear our conversation. "Renjun, you can still be friends with them."

Renjun looked at Haechan. "Not him around. I have no grudge against the others, but I do have plenty on Haechan. I'm sorry, Yejin. I still need to figure things out." He started to walk away again but I grabbed his arm.

"Renjun, if you're feeling down, please don't do bad things.. please." I pleaded. I saw him blush because I was holding him. "No promises. I am not coming back yet," He paused and grabbed my arm.

"Not until I make you mine."

I keep on tapping my pen on my notebook in the middle of the class. Renjun's whereabouts filled my head. What he would possibly do, what he can do, what he should do and what he is planning. I tapped the pen on my head next, frustrated.

I groaned and banged my head on the cover of the book I'm reading which is 'Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns'. "What's up with you?" Haechan whispered while writing down what's in the board.

I placed my cheek on my palm and moved my pen side to side. "Nothing. I don't even know what I am thinking." I said. "Wow, you think?" I glared at Haechan and he laughed. I pinched his ear. "Hey, ow ow, stop."

I rolled my eyes. "You're probably thinking about your new driver." I glared at him again and he raised both of his hands. "You're adding another problem on my plate!" I opened the book and tried to finish a chapter, but it was no use.

"What's wrong? Tell me." Haechan said and lend his attention to me. I looked at him and put my pen down. "I don't know if I can trust you with this one." I said and bit my lip nervously.

He raised a brow. "Is it something serious." I fidgeted. "In your group of friends, at least.." I said, my voice trailing off. Haechan's curious expression disappeared and changed into a serious one. "Yejin.."

"I know, I know. The guilt found me again." I said and sighed. "We talked about this one, Yejin." I looked at him and pouted. "Yeah, I know. I just can't help it." He patted my head and moved my shoulders.

"Lighten up. Remember that, sweetheart." He said and gave me his bright smile. "Thanks." We looked back in front when our Mr. Seo said, "Make a couplet of your own."

Haechan looked at me and raised a brow. "What's a couplet?" He asked. "Last time I remembered from ASOUE, a couplet is a two-lined poem that rhymed. Isadora loves making them."

"Isa-who?"

I rolled my eyes. "Nothing. I'll make my own. You should make yours, too." He nodded and we wrote in a piece of paper. I immediately wrote what I thought.

My life used to have less laughter,
With you, I made my happily ever after

I looked at Haechan when he poked me. "What?" He showed me what he has written on his paper.

There's a time that would come
You'd call me daddy and you would cum

I bursted into laughter and hit Haechan on his back. "What the hell!" He also laughed. "How did that shit get in your brain?!" The both of us can't stop laughing because of the couplet he made.

He shrugged. "It just went in my mind. I can't think of anything that rhymes with come but cum." I pushed his cheek and rested my head on the table. "Can I look again?" I asked. He gave me his paper and I immediately stood up.

"Sir!" I stretched my arm to give Haechan's paper to Mr. Seo. Haechan realized what the hell is happening and held me back. "Shh! I just made that up! It's not for this one." He said and tried to take his paper.

I raised my arm and while he was trying to get it, he accidentally pinned me to the wall. Someone whistled and all the attention was on us. Haechan winked and smiled before snatching his paper back in his hand.

"What did just happen?" Mr. Seo asked with a sly smile, apparently teasing the both of us-or it is just me? Haechan loves the spotlight. I bit my lip. "That was nothing, Sir." I said and glared at my classmates one by one.

Younghee, Teyong, Jewin and Jay stayed unfazed and still gave me those looks.

Mr. Seo went back to collecting our classmates' papers. I wrote my name down and also handed my paper to Mr. Seo. I looked at Haechan, raising a brow. "Do you need help or nah?" I asked.

"I think I can manage." He replied. I shrugged and sat back beside him. "You said-"

"Can you give me an example?" I slowly looked at him. "You said you can manage." I said matter-of-factly. He grinned and pouted, placing his pen between his nose and lips. "Pwease. I can manage, but with your help."

"Mr. Seo! Haechan is asking for help!"

"I am not, Sir! Yejin is a liar."

"Tell me I'm a liar and I am not helping you."

"Yejin is a good girl, Sir."
