Chapter Four: The First Clue

"I'm back here." I said looking around. The bright blue sky and the green grass. They are all around me again. "Child." I hear the same voice I geared earlier in the office. "Your back. I thought you left." I told the voice. "Who are the others I need to find? And who are you?" I asked the voice the questions that have been on my mind all day. "My name is Mara Normore. I do not know the names of the others. However I do know the birth marks they have. A Wolf, a Cheetah, a Owl, and a Turtle." The voice -I now know as Mara- said. "Do you know where I can find the others?" I asked. "I only know the location of two of them. The Wolf is in Skatter town. The Cheetah is in Joujin city. By the time you find those two. I will have located the rest." "I need more than that." I told Mara.

Before Mara could answer a flash of white happened. When I could finally see I was back where my last dream ended, but before the beast looked me in the eyes. I see something wiz by me again, but this time it came back. In front of me now stood a tall, green eyed, African American that was around my age. "Hello.. I'm." The boy started to speak. "I have the cheetah mark..... Come.... Find.... Me." As the boy was speaking his form started to flicker in and out of focus, and his voice cutting in and out as well. "Who are you?" I asked the flickering boy. "My.... Name... Is... W..." Before the boy could tell me his name he vanishes. It was like he was never there. "So his name starts with a "W". That probably narrows it down a little." Suddenly another thing winzes by me. This time it does not turn around and come back. I looked in the direction the wiz was going, and I saw the beast once again. I looked him in the eyes and this time nothing happened. "Who or What are you?" I asked the beast. The beasts just gave a low threatening growl that shocked everything. "Whoa." I said as I tried to steady my self. I failed at it falling to the ground with a thump.

Suddenly, the beast charged at me. I prepared for the impact, but it didn't come. When I looked up everything was white. "Where am I now?" I asked out loud. "Liv! Luv!! Get up you are gonna be late for your second day!" Said a voice from the nothingness. "That voice sounds like my Mom." I thought. Slowly I opened my eyes. "Thank you for waking me up Mom." I said to my Mom hopping out of bed. "Your welcome Livie but next time set your alarm. Ok?" "Ok Mom." I put on some nice clothes growing an extra pair into my bag. I grabbed my lunch my Mom had prepared for me and I bolted out the door with an "I love you Mom." As I ran to work.
