Life moved on, as if nothing drastic has happened. Day and night progressed like normal. That is the beauty of time I guess. It doesn't change for anybody. It goes on as if nothing happened. I adjusted to life without Levi as well. I spent my first six months focusing on getting myself better by healing my physical scars and speaking to a psychiatrist to get over the low self esteem and dismal outlook I had developed over life. I re-entered high school in California. I came to know that my friends had already got their high school diploma. Ed and Fabi went on to join the national soccer team. Kyle went on to college studying. He was intending to study Robotics in university. Natalie never apologized for her horrible behavior but Danny changed. After that night when I busted Levi's mum to his step dad, Danny's mum also landed in hot water. Danny apparently told the truth to her dad. Their family separated as Danny feared but a year later she got in touch with me to tell me how relieved she was to finally get that off her chest.

I was very nervous when the first six months passed and I waited for Levi to come to the same park. I was there an hour early and was surprised when I saw Levi there before me. I smiled at him but he didn't. We planted our trees and went our separate ways but for months I kept wondering if he was upset with me. I wanted to get in touch with anyone close to him but I felt it was too early to do it. I guess, in a way, the first year was the hardest because I heard almost nothing from Levi and the police continued to follow me. We moved back home after my first year in California. I would go back to California every six months to keep our promise of meeting in that park. Levi would come too but we barely exchanged words. He left quickly after he finished planting his tree and I would keep wondering if talking just for a little while was such a bad thing. Every time after our meeting, for days I would just wander around like a ghost, wishing so badly to contact Levi. But I reminded myself why I was doing it. Still it never calmed my heart.

During the second year, I joined college and introduced Kyle to Danny. Surprisingly, even though Kyle was someone who was critical of her, six months later they officially started dating. At first I didn't know whether I should cheer them on. They seemed like such an unlikely couple. But apparently, Danny loved Kyle's big family and Kyle's mum adored her. Usually Kyle couldn't get along with his girl friends because they didn't like how Kyle was depended on for everything by his family. But Danny on the other hand seemed to admire Kyle for it. She even went to pick up his younger siblings. She told me that having her family broken, made her realize how amazing Kyle's family was and she wanted to be a part of that. I guess it's strange how things change. Danny became my best friend in college and it felt amazing to have someone who knew my history with Levi beside me. I was glad things didn't get so sour between us that we had to break apart. Instead, those incidents made our friendship stronger. Sadly though, Danny had no contact with Levi either and we didn't know what was happening in his life.

It was in the third year when I decided to manage my mum's café' that I first heard of what was happening in Levi's life and it really came as a surprise. He was offered the lead role in the new rendition of god father and it was big news. The second shock was that he changed his name to Leviathan Nicolai Antony and that he had already done many small side roles and had established a career in modeling. He had over 12K fan following to my surprise. Me and Danny both followed him on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Unfortunately though, he didn't seem to be the one really operating it or maybe we were lost in the 12K fans he had.

After the first god father trailer came out, his following went from 12K to over 1 million in a matter of weeks. Me, Danny and Kyle went for the official movie premier but got pushed around by fans. We barely caught a glimpse of him but we had a great time watching the movie. It was amazing and strangely completely different from the original one. Still, it had a gripping story line and Levi's role in it was riveting. He played a gangster so amazingly well. We followed him also on his interviews where he was sometimes asked who his inspiration was in playing the role and he grinned and said cheekily that it was his uncles. I smiled because I knew what he meant but of course he completely changed it to say his uncles had amazing personalities.
