Chapter 1: The party of a life time

Man i didn't know that it was going to be this cold oh well better get going.

On mobis it was a cold and snowy day. At shadow's house he was throwing a new years eve party.

"Sonic wait for me."

"Tails come on were going to miss the party."

"I'm hurrying just wait up."

"Okay tails I'll wait."

"Thank you man why are you in such a rush."

"Just excited."

"Okay."

That wasn't the truth. The truth is that night I was going to ask Tails to be with me but I got to get there first. But then I thought of all what could happen. Like if he says no or if I get to nevouis and don't say a word I just don't know. But what i do know is that were almost there.

"Finally were here. I'm freezing."

"I know right how could it be this cold in mobis."

"Oh hey guys well your early."

"We are?"

"Yeah your about 3 hours early."

"Ha ha ha umm."

"I know Amy would say this but Sonic you Moron."

"Sorry."

"Hey guys can you help me finish up setting up."

"Sure shad."

"Okay shadow."

We set up that place easily it only took about 35 minutes to finish.

"Hey Sonic are you going to ask him tonight?"

"I don't know shad. I mean I mite I don't know okay I'm just nervous."

"Sonic there is nothing to be nervous about."

"Okay shad I'll try see what happens."

about 2 hours and 25 minutes later the

guests started to show up.

First it was silver shadows boyfriend.

"Shad."

"Silvy how are you my love."

"Good and I love what you have done with the place really festive."

Next it was rouge and knuckles.

"Hey guys."

"sup Sonic Tails."

Next Amy and sally showed up.

"Hey guys how is everybody."

"Sonic long time no see."

Then the rest of the guest just came poring in like water from a forest.

Everybody was dance singing and mary making while sonic was in the other room thinking on how would he say this.

Should I just be straightforward with this or should I be gental with this I just don't know.

Then sonic heared from the other room tails giving a speech.

"what a year am I right. I mean besides us beating eggman every time. It has been pretty decent years. So if I could get all of you to raise your glass. Let have a wonderful year ahead cheers."

everybody shouted out

"CHEERS."

Still even after sonic hear that tremendous speech from tails he still didn't know how to express himself.

Shdaow walked into the room where sonic was thinking.

"Hey still thinking about doing it?"

"Yeah but I just don't want to be turned down. I I I'm just scared."

"It's like I said don't be. You'll be alright."

As shadow walked away he turned and said

"He's up on the roof just in case."

After a long and hard thought sonic decided to go up to the roof and clear the air with him.

As Sonic reached the top of the stair he could a two tailed fox in a beautiful black tuxedo. Put his weight on his elbows and it seemed as if he was in as much thought an he was.

"Hey thinking about something."

"Oh hey sonic yeah I actually was thinking about something."

"Tails I have something to tell you."

"What is it dude?"

"I I can't say."

"Why?"

"Because it's embarrassing."

"Come on bro you can tell me anything."

"I I..."

Sonic mumbbled and started too walk away until tails grabbed his hand.

"Sonic I know what your trying to say."

Tails pulled me in for a kiss.

"I love you too."

"Really?"

Sonic asked afraid this was a prank or a dream.

"I have loved you for a long time and well I didn't want to hide it anymore."

I hugged tails tightly because I didn't want this moment to end.

"I'm sorry about what I have done to you all of these years."

"Sonic it's okay."

"No it's not I made you be alone for so many years I'm sorry."

"Sonic it's okay plus I know it is embarrassing to admit it but hey at least were together now."

"Yeah."

We went back down to the room I was just in before I went to the roof. I was suppried that no one was trying to listen to our conversation.

"What are we going to tell everybody."

"Well I think since shad and silver had gotten together it should be okay."

"Alright soniku."

We walked into the room were all of our friends have been partying. Shad came to me and said

"Well did you do it or did you decide not to?"

I hugged tails and he kissed me.

"Does that answer your question?"

"Yeah good job I knew you had it in you."
