Chapter 1

I woke up one morning and remembered it

was my thirteenth birthday I was excited

because for the first time in years I would be able to see my mom again.

For the last six years I have been living with my aunty and uncle but now I get to go back and live with my mom again.

I got up quickly had a shower then put my makeup on and got dressed in my favourite blue dress.

Then ran down stares and asked my aunty "aunty Sosa what time will my mom be here to pick me up?" Her aunty looked at me "not for another four hours," my aunt told me. I would smile a little at her then ask "whats for breakfast?" My aunt would smile and say "your favorite chocolate chip pancakes."

I would smile at that and sat and waited for my aunt to make the chocolate chip pancakes.

Once my aunty finished making my favorite pancakes she put them on a plate and I ate them after breakfast I decided to help my aunty do the dishes.

After that I went back up to my room and worked on my homework till my mom comes.
