Chunin Exams pt. 1: The Written test pt. 1

"Man what is with that kid!?" Sakura ask as we arrive to the room. Sasuke and Lee just got at it till Gai Sensei broke them up. "I don't know." Naruto answers her. Pushing the double doors open we find all the participants for the exams. To bad most aren't going to make it through the first part.

All of them are staring at us. I can even feel those sea foam green eyes in the crowd too.

Man what a drag. All these people are more terrifying in real life.

I go to stand behind Naruto because I am getting a bad feeling. I grip on his orange jacket as I shake in terror. "What's wrong Hannah?" His blue orbs met mine. "Do you not feel death in the air!?" Answering Sakura comes. "She's right. I can feel it too."

"Sasuke where have you been!?" Oh no Ino. The girl I hate more than Sakura. She is way more annoying. Hugging on to Sasuke and telling him she missed him and his looks. I can feel Sakura is P.O.

"Hey you porker! Back off Sasuke is mine!" And let it begin. I just decided to ignore their petty arguments. That's when Shikamaru, Choji, Hinata, Kiba, and Shino came. "Hey Hinata!" Making my way over I hug the sweet and lovableness. "Hi Hannah!" Hugging me back we just looked like idiots. Everyone was staring. "IF ANYONE HURTS THE PURE CHILD I WILL KILL EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!" I mostly glare at Neji when I say this. I know he can feel it because I see him shutter as he looks back at me.

"Wait who is this? I never seen this girl before!"
Kiba asks with interest as he looks at me. "My name's Hannah Sowers!" Using my thumb I point to myself. "My what a lively group!" I know that voice.

Kobuto Yakushi!

Glaring at him he takes a glimpse of me. Running my thumb across my throat I show him I don't trust him. He can act innocent all he wants. He ain't going to fool me. He is glaring back now.

Turning my back to him I don't listen to what he says. Instead I meet the eyes of Gaara looking at me. Blushing I put a strand on my hair behind my ear.

Where is the teacher when you need him?!

"Okay now for Gaara of the Desert." Hearing his name I rush over. "Gaara you say!" I couldn't contain my excitement. Sakura and Hinata just giggles at my interest. "Hannah has a crush!" Sakura is now taunting me. "So what if I do! He is a really cool guy!" Everyone was shocked to hear about my crush. "You like that freak?!" Sasuke eyes are wide. "Don't call him a freak! He is a nice guy! He just has issues that's all!"

Turning again I cross my arms. "Anyways as I was saying he survived every mission without getting a scratch on him." Kobuto continued as he fixed his glasses.

With all the information Kobuto has given I look at Naruto. He is shaking. I know he ain't scared. He is shaking with built up excitement. "MY NAME IS NARUTO UZUMAKI AND I'M GOING TO BEAT EVERYONE OF YA! BELIEVE IT!" Seeing him do this I join him. "I'M WITH YOU NARUTO! LET'S DO THIS THING BABY!" I couldn't help it. Naruto is just infectious when he is like this.

"HEY WHAT ARE THEM TWO TRYING TO DO? GET US KILLED?!" Hearing Ino I just laugh. "Yeah I feel a lot better now!" He puts his hands behind his head as I nod. "We can do this!" Naruto and I laugh at each other.

Hugging me I feel glares. I know who's they are. "That's the same squirts as last time right?" Kankuro asks. "He yips like a little dog, but I love Hannah's enthusiasm." Temari reply's. Gaara on the other hand. He doesn't look happy.

Wait the sound village is making their move!

My blue orbs moved with the ninja from the sound village. This ain't good at all. They are so fast. I mean I seen this episode so many times but seeing their speed in real life is just crazy. I know they are going after Kobuto and it serves him right even though they are working together.

Suddenly smoke fills the room. "Okay you babyfaced degenerates listen up!" He's here. Ibiki Morino. Older brother to Hidate Morino. "It's time to begin. I am Ibiki Morino and at this moment. Your worst enemy." He is more scary up close. "First you ninja from the hidden sound village! Knock it off! Who told you, you could fight?" Pointing them out I look. "Do you want to fail even before the test has begun."

I'm staying out of this!

"Sorry our first time." The mummy guys spoke. I never had interest learning his name. Ibiki continues to talk about how fighting is not allowed this part.

Then we get to the seating. I got my number, found my seat, and sat. Right behind me was Gaara as he sat next to me.

Great now I'm gonna be even more distracted!

"Hey I need to talk to you." Tensing up I sit really still. "O-Oh yeah. W-What about Gaara?" He is looking at me so serious, but then again that's his face in general. "Why do I take such a interest in you? I can't stop looking at you or even thinking of you." Turning into stone I am about to faint. "W-What do you mean Gaara? To me it sounds like you got a crush." Trying to play it cool I fail. "A crush? I never felt these emotions before?" Crossing his arms he closes his eyes.

"I don't like them. After this test I want you to stay away from me. Don't come close to me ever again." And with those words my heart breaks. Glazing over with tears my blue oceans look down.

I knew it was too good to be true!

Shaking in my seat I hold back my tears. "W-What's wrong with emotions. I-It's what make us human right?" The tears are wanting to come out. "Human? I'm no human. I'm a monster." Hearing him say this I start to cry. "Gaara... you are no monster. You never were. You are a boy who is lonely and misunderstood. You are just as human as I am." Gaara was taken by surprise that I started crying. Crying for him. "Gaara I wish you could understand that the feeling you hold are the same as mine. You may not see me as someone special, but to me you are very special. I knew this since I first saw you. But if you want me to stay away then I will." I don't look him in the eyes. I can't. Instead I lay my head down.

Gaara's POV

Understand feelings?

Thinking to myself I see Hannah crying. She is crying for me. "...But if you want me to stay away then I will." Laying her head down I can hear her sniffling. "Are you crying?" Her shoulders tense. "No I'm not crying!" Raising her head she wipes the tears away.

Hannah's POV

Wiping the tears I sit straight. "It takes a lot for me to cry." Pouting I look at the sensei.
