Chapter 16

 ((Absalom's POV))

Me- "Hildon!!!"

After searching for (Y/N) everywhere for almost an hour and nothing, I started to get worried. How could I let (Y/N) out of my sight? I have truly failed to protect her and it bothers me every passing second.

Me- "HILDON!!!"

At some point I have realized that I can't do this alone so I hope to have someone help me, if he would hurry the hell up.

Me-"HILDON!! I DON'T HAVE ALL DAY!!"

Hildon- "Sorry Absalom!! I-I'm coming!"

I could hear Hildon panting and flapping his wings at a tired pace. He must be coming from far away but my worries are far more important.

Me- "WHAT TOOK YOU SO DAMN LONG?!"

Hildon- "I was.....at the farthest end...of the ship..."

Me- "YOU STILL KEPT ME WAITING FOR TOO LONG!!"

Hildon- "S-Sorry Absalom....so....why are you in such a rush?"

Me- "(Y/N) has gone missing and I need you to help me find her!!"

Hildon- "So...another girl has rejected you huh?"

Me- "SHE DID NOT REJECT ME, I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE SHE'S SAFE!!!"

Hildon- "fine fine whatever you say, so what do I do if I find her?"

Me- "just come tell me where she is and I'll go to her myself."

Hildon- "but what if she doesn't want to come back to you?"

Me- "OF COURSE SHE WANTS TO COME BACK TO ME!! I AM HER GROOM FOR PETE'S SAKE!!"

Hildon- "okay, okay....I'm off then....geez, she goes missing for one second then he loses his mind the next."

Me- "what did you just say?..."

Hildon- "EEEEK!! N-nothing, that I'm off to find your missing bride!!"

Hildon flies away in a hurry and disappears in a few short seconds, if only he moved that fast when I had called for him...

((Hildon's POV))

I quickly fly away from Absalom before he decides to blasts me again. I mean I'll still live if I did but it still hurts. I still haven't recovered from the last blast I've received from him.

I know Absalom is desperate but geez, what is this guy's deal? He was never this persistent to any of the other girls he has tried to marry, so what makes (Y/N) any different?

So she ran away, big whoop, like he's never dealt with that before? (Y/N) probably ran away because Absalom let her out of his sight and she took advantage of it like the others did.

Absalom is never going to get married and that's a fact, yet he looks at (Y/N) like shes different than the others.

Is (Y/N) really that special to him? I mean I'm sure he uses the same lines to every single girl he meets.

I suddenly looked down and see melted candle wax on the floor.

Bingo.

She probably came through here.

But wait.

This trail leads to Perona's chambers.

Would she really be there?

Only one way to find out.

I fly over to Perona's chambers and saw that she had left her door open just a crack. I peeked through the small opening in hope's to get a good look inside.
