~Keith's POV~

After Shiro woke up, he told us about how he was able to escape the Galra thanks to the help of another. So Pidge searched through his arm and found coordinates. Now we were heading towards the location. I wasn't sure exactly how long it had been, but I missed (Y/N) still and I hate the almost disgusted look on Allura's face whenever he was mentioned. I was still a little distant from everyone, but not as much as the first few days he was gone.

Now we were arriving at the coordinates that Shiro's arms had lead us to. We all standing there confused when we found nothing, "Well, this is it. No sign of any activity at all, living or otherwise." Coran stated. "Can we get in there to take a closer look?" Shiro asked. Coran shock his head,"I don't want to bring the Castle any closer. Those xanthorium chunks contain highly unstable nitrate salts. Even bumping one of them can blow us straight to Wozblay."

"Are you sure this is right?" Shiro tried to clarify. Coran nodded, "These are the coordinates Number Five gave me." Pidge crossed her arms, "Hey! My decryption is solid." Shiro rested his chin on his hand, "There must be something we're missing." Allura sighed, "We should get out of here. We've checked it out, but now, it's time to move on." Shiro looked at her,"No. There must be something more to this. I can feel it. I think we should wait." He insisted.

Sometime past and we all were mostly quiet, at least until Coran called out,"There are  intruders in the Castle!" We were all a little shocked,"How could someone just sneak aboard the ship?" Lance asked. "I knew coming here was a mistake! There they is. Level five." Allura stated as we all headed down to meet the intruders.

We all started trying to get rid of the intruders, Coran providing commentary for the entire event. Eventually we were able to subdue them. Shiro recognized the more Galra looking one, while the smaller, who was dressed in red with a lion mask refused to let us remove the mask. Allura insisted that we restrain the two. I also noticed that when Allura and Coran entered the room the guy in red seemed to tense up.

"I don't think this is necessary." Shiro voiced, not that he was really going to be able to convince Allura of that, "I will not have some quiznak-ing Galra soldier on the bridge of my ship!" The princess argued, "If I wanted to kill you, you'd be dead already." Ulaz stated. The guy in red kicked him in the leg, "Shut up. You are not helping us here." Just like the stranger had done earlier Coran and Allura tensed.

"You. Take of your mask." The princess ordered. The male tilted his head to the side, "Why should I?" The princess crossed her arms, "You claim we can rust you, but how can we trust someone who's face we haven't even seen?" The masked guy seemed to be trying to think of a come back when the other Galra spoke up, "Take of your mask." The guy in red seemed a little shocked. "But Ulaz-"

"No buts. We need their trust in order to take down Zarkon." The masked stranger sighed, "Fine..." Somehow he removed his restrants shocking everyone, but when he took of his mask Allura looked like she was ready to kill him. His black hair streaked with white. Pale skin and violet altean markings under his eyes. "Hey there Allura. Coran.... Been awhil-" He was cut off by Allura pushing him against a wall.

"How are you alive, YOU TRAITOR?!" The male flintched and sighed. "Your father sent me off of Altean just after you and Coran were placed into pods. Allura I swear to you I never ment for that to happen-" Allura cut him off, "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK OF MY FATHER!! YOU KNEW FULL WELL WHAT ZARKON WOULD DO!!" The boy sighed, "Allura... It would be easier for me to explain if you'd let me down." The princess did not move. Coran placed a hand on her shoulder, "Allura... maybe we should hear him out."

Reluctantly the princess let him go. The boy rubbed his neck, "Thank you Coran. Anyway, my name is Kiren. I'm half Altean, half Galra and the former paladin of the red lion." We all stared at him with wide eyes, Allura crossed her arms, "You forgot to mention that Zarkon is also your Father." This shocked us even more. Kiren sighed, "Yeah... guess that's unfortantly true... anyway, back when Altea was destroyed I sided with Zarkon. I realized my mistake to late to stop it. instead I fought beside side king Alfor, the original paladins and the paladins who worked with me. King Aflor sent me off of Altea before it was destroyed with The guardians."

My mind pulled at the details until I realized something, stepping forward I looked the boy in the eyes, "Do you know (Y/N) and Izaya?" Both Ulaz and Kiren looked at me, "Yeah... They were the ones who woke me up from one hell of a nap. Why? How do you know them?" He crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes in my direction, "They're my half-brothers and our friends." Shiro added, Kiren relaxed a little, "Okay then. You guys must be decent then."

We continued to talk to Ulaz. Kiren didn't seem to entirely trust us and seem to want us to stay away from one section of the outpost.

~(Y/N)'s POV~

The next time I opened my eyes was Kiren shaking me. "What do you want? Can't I just sleep?" I looked up though tired eyes. Kiren looked serious, "Not right now. We need to go. Something is attacking the outpost." I shot up with wide eyes, "What?! Where's Ulaz?! What exactly is happening?!" Kiren sighed, grabbing my new jacket and pulling me to my feet, "No time. We need to move. Ulaz want's us out of here."

I pull my arm from his grip, "Why?! We can help! We're members of the blade to." Kiren looked me in the eye, "Look, it'll be fine. Ulaz isn't on his own. Now come on." There was no longer a point for me to argue. So I followed the older male back to the ship. The two of us making it out just in time to see the final moments of the battle. We watch as Voltron seemed to be out matched and we watched as Ulaz acted like the true hero he is.

"Ulaz! What are you doing?!" I yelled over the transmission. "What must be done. Voltorn is to important for us to lose in this battle. It is the only thing that can bring an end to Zarkon." My eyes started to get misty, "Ulaz..." I took a shaky breath and laughed a little, smiling one final time at the older Galra, "You won't be forgotten." We watched as Ulza sacrificed himself, saving Voltron. I looked at the large machine, a small feeling of guilt and regret tugged at the back of my mind. Kiren opened a line with Voltron. "Paladins, we will see you all again. We all must work together to bring an end to Zarkon. Do not forget, that is the very reason Ulaz died for you, This is the price the blade as payed over and over again to no avail. You are our only chance. Until then." He cut off the transmission.

Kiren placed a hand on my shoulder, "His sacrifice won't be in vein. Now let's get back to the Blade. There's still a lot of walk to do." I nodded, wiping away the remining tears that brimmed my eyes, replacing my saddened look with one of determination, "Let's go."
