We were now squeezed inside Lexie's limo heading towards her birthday party together. When she said her party this year would be different, she meant it. This year she only invited us, the Queen Bees and Josh along with his close friends as our dates. And the reason we had to go together to her party because up till now, we still didn't have any idea where in the world her party would be. She said she wanted to surprise us. She sure had a weird way of thinking. Who would think to surprise their friends on her birthday? It should be the other way around. She was plain stupid. I wish I could say that to her face.

There were 10 of us cramped inside the limo. Josh Silverman, was 2 years older than us. He was our senior who graduated 2 years ago. He was introduced to Lexie by his family. Apparently their family had common interest in business. He asked her out few weeks before his graduation and since then they had been going strong despite their distance. Their family support and business interest was no doubt played a big role in this.  Tonight he brought four of his close friends for each of us.

Among those four, I only recognised one, Brian Reid. He was my ex-boyfriend. Shout out to Josh for his lack of common sense. How did he wanted me to enjoy the party when there was my ex who hated me to the gut beside me. He knew about us, and I was 100% sure he did this on purpose. He did not really like me. Well excuse me for being utterly honest some times. I could not stand a faker. I knew the sole reason he dated Lexie because of their family business. I caught him with another blondie sucking each other's face in Paris this year. I wished Lexie could find out soon. It would be a very unpleasant but drama-worthy situation.

Throughout the whole ride, I chattered with everyone else except Brian, obviously. I dated him during 8th grade and I cheated on him. Not something I was proud of. It was a spur in the moment kind of thing. However, it was enough to make him hate me until now.

We finally arrived to a bar. Live 'till U Die was the name of the bar. The sign board was crooked as if it would fall of anytime soon.

"Oh my God! Guys are you ready for the best party ever?! Because I am!" Lexie's chirped and the other girls joined her in excitement, except for me.

The bar looked cheap. I thought the Gregory's family was rich enough. Her father owned a very famous law firm. I thought she could afford more than this. However, since today was her birthday, I would be nice a little and reserved my comment for tomorrow instead.

I'm impressed that I can actually be nice. Ha!

We walked inside and the bar was empty.

"Are you sure this is the correct place?" Faith asked looking confuse with her surrounding. Well, she sure was not the only one.

"100% sure, right babe?"

"My girl's never wrong." with that he kissed Lexie like there was no tomorrow for us to be the audience.

"Eww stop it." They stopped abruptly. "I'm almost running my 'nice' card for tonight, Lexie. Let's get this stupid party of yours started and get over with." I said not hiding the annoyance in my voice.

She quickly straightened her back obviously taken aback with my harsh words. "Er..sorry for being distracted." She smiled sheepishly as Josh threw daggers at me and I just rolled my eyes. "Okay follow me." She lead us to a brick wall and started to push on certain brick like the shit happened on Harry Potter and suddenly the door opened.

We were then served with a loud music coming from the other part of the brick wall. There were at least 40-50 people inside dancing to the music. The light was dimmed so I could not really visualised the interior but what I noticed was there was a band playing on stage at the far end. They were playing some heavy metal song which was not to my liking. I felt like my eardrum were going to explode anytime soon.

"What the hell Lexie! I thought we're going to your party!" Casie had to shout because the music was deafening.

"Yes! This is it!" She answered with the same volume as she started to dance along to the music. "The surprise is yet to come! But first, let's enjoy the music!" She was now gone within the crowd with Josh leaving the rest of us dumbfounded.

"She's crazy." Marlee said before joining the crowd followed with the rest of them. I was in no mood to bang my head to this deafening music, I settled myself at the bar instead wanting to drink some.

I hope the drinks was good at least. I ordered a drink and just enjoyed it alone. Unfortunately it was not for too long, Brian came and sit beside me. As much as I disliked his presence, I just didn't feel like moving anywhere else because I had the best spot here.

"Still the same old Kiera Martino you are." said Brian as he gulped down his drinks.

I made a ridiculous face. "Did you..." I pointed to him. "...just talked to me?" I pointed to myself.

"No, I was talking to the wine." He scoffed as he gulped down another shot.

I shrugged my shoulder. "Because as far as I could remember, we are not on the speaking term since 8th grade." I sipped a drink. "Your loss though." I said non-chalantly.

"Why did you do that?" He said as he was now facing him. I could feel his breath on my face.

"Do what?" I asked putting my innocent card on the table.

"Don't play dumb Kiera. You know what I'm talking about. Why did you cheated on me?" He asked in a controlled voice. I could see mixture of anger and hurt dancing around in his eyes.

I snickered. "Oh come on Brian, it was a long time ago. You should move on by now. Besides, we were both just two kids, don't take anything seriously."

"For your information, I've moved on a long time ago."

"Thanks for the info, Brian." I said interrupting his words as I pick up my glass on his way for a mock cheers. Even in the dimmed light I could see his face was now filled with tinge of red, which might be due to his alcohol kicked in or because he was fuming.

"I want answer Kiera!" He grabbed my arm before I could take a sip of my drink. "I've loved you...why? Just why would you do that to me?" his voice was now sound defeated. I bet he was drunk already.

Why the hell he had to be dramatic when he was drunk? Now was not the perfect time for another walk down memory lane, aren't we? I preferred to reminisce a past over a coffee at a nice cafe somewhere, although my cheating story was not something quite nice to be remembered. When I saw he had no hint of giving up I just gave him my answer. "Because I did not feel the same way as you do. Plus you were kinda boring."

He was going to say something in return when suddenly the music dies.

"You know what, you deserved to be called a bitch. Because you are definitely one." He said one last time before he walked away to joined the crowd.

I heaved a sigh as I watched him walked away. Was he talking love with me? Am I even capable of loving someone or being loved? I just laugh to myself thinking me ever getting involve with love. The closest thing I had with Alex just ended in a great disaster.

"Thank you guys for sticking up to this late to watch our performance tonight! We were honoured to perform here tonight, as a special request from the ever beautiful Lexie Gregory. I wish you a wonderful birthday tonight! Enjoy!" I instantly snapped my head towards the owner of the voice's direction. It was a familiar voice.

Standing on the stage was a guy dressed in all black. His face was hidden with his cap and big sunglasses. He was also looking down all the time. I could not see his face but one thing for sure, I recognised that voice.

It was Mr. Nice Guy's voice.
