Chapter 10 The Mystery paper bag part 2

I was walking around the shop with Sarah helping her pick something out to wear tonight, my mind was all over the place. I had so many thoughts running through my head. I was trying to act normal and not let Sarah read right through me. Because she was very good at that.

Ok Cass focus on the task ahead and pretend that your interested in that purple skirt she is about to grab. Say something that I would normaly say like "oh that looks nice."

I shook my head and got a clearer view on what Sarah had in her hand and saw this beautiful floral dress. I knew it, that is the dress. "Sarah why are you even looking around. You have the dress." As I finshed I pointed to the dress. Sarah stoped looking at the skirt witch was not her at all and looked at the dress witch was by far the best thing in this shop. She smiled and I knew I was right like most of the time.

"How do you do it Cass? You always seem to know what is best for me. Sorry I didnt even knowest i picked it up. my head is in dream mood for some reason." I looked at her and knew how she felt. I was jumping up and down inside because one, I knew my best freind was going to get in engaged tonight and I was going out with my dream guy. I was a bit to excited.

"I dont know how I do it. I just know when I see it. Now if you don't buy it now we will be late for dinner." Sarah looked at her watch and almost gasped, "Oh my word we will." She put away the other cloths and payed for the dress then we left.

It's so funny seeing Sarah worry about things sometimes. As we got into the cab Sarah was like, "Can you step on it. We are running late."

I patted her leg, "Sarah we will have lots of time don't worry." As we entered the drive way Sarah had her belt off and money in hand to pay the cab driver. He stopped right in front and she jumped out and payed and ran in. I laughed then got out of the car and walked in side.

As I was walking up the stairs to my room I heard, "Hi Cass."

I turned around to see Martha I smiled and walked down to give her a hug. She gave me a hug and said, "So double date tonight? How exciting."

I looked at her and knew from that minute she knew everything.

"How did you know?"

She laughed, "Honey when your brother and you want to talk about relationships in the middle of the hotel and by my office you might want to look and see if I am not there. Because you two are dear to me and when I hear you two talking I always eavesdrop." 

I laughed, "Well thats my fault I should of looked. Can you acted surprise when they tell you tonight? Please?" 

Martha raised an eyebrow when I said that. Then it all clicked, she hadn't been listening at all. She was just trying to get info from me because she knew something way up. I tried acting like oh never mind what I just said and tried to think of something to replace what I just said.  

Martha patted me on the shoulder and said, "My dear dont worry my lips are sealed. Have a wonderful night with your freinds.  I cant wait to hear how it does."  She gave me a kiss and then turned  and left. I smiled and ran up stairs before Sarah could wonder where I was. 

As I walked in she came out of the bathroom in the dress and Oh my word she look amazing. I smiled, "Aren't I always right on your cloths? You look a million bucks.  Jake isn't going to know what hit him."

Sarah blushed, "Is it to much?"

I shook my head, "No way. Now can you help me?"

Sarah went over to bag that I hadn't seen before and didn't remember her getting it today. She pulled out and lovely Tiffany blue dress with a white belt around the middle.  "Well I saw this yesterday and knew one of us had to wear it tonight. I want you to have it."
