I briskly sprinted after the omega that had escaped from its cage, it was to be auctioned off in less than a week but if I caught it then I'd gain ownership rights.
My paws thumped at the ground one last time as I leaped into the air and obnoxiously landed on the younger boy pinning him down as we both turned back to our human forms a look of defeat clearly visible on his face.
He had a cute button nose with a noticeable blush feathering across his face as well as bright green eyes perfectly framed by raven hair.
I was in awe as I took in the sight underneath me, my heart started to beat faster as my palms began to sweat and something inside me drew me closer to him, he smelled of mint leaves and I could tell that not only had I found my mate but I'd also found him on the first day of his heat.
