My New Home

~Wanna go out~

"We're here!" My mother exclaimed as we drove up to our new house in Ninjago City. "Why did we move again?" I asked my mom for the hundredth time. "Y/N you know why, we've been over this a hundred times already."

"We moved so that I can get a job as a police officer." She explained exasperated. "I know, but why here?" "Y/N, it's the biggest city in all of Ninjago, and there are more opportunities for me here than in Jamanakia Village."

"Yeah, but I miss my friends, Julie, Amy, and especially Bella." I said with a doleful look on my face. "I know sweetie, but maybe you'll make some new friends here" she said with a hopeful look. "Yeah, maybe." "And don't forget that you're going to be attending Ninjago High!"

She said a little too happy for my taste.  As we pulled up to the new house, I noticed that the house had 2 floors. It was also a light blue color, with a terrace on the second floor.

I get out of the van and I grab a box before taking it inside, which thankfully the door was unlocked. After about an hour of bringing our furniture in the house, I plop down on the couch.

"Whew, that's the last of it" my mother said coming in with the last box. "Y/N, why don't you go and check out your new room? Its on the second floor.""Ok" I said as I started for the stairs. "And don't forget to bring some boxes with you." "Ok, mom" I said as I turned around to grab a box that was labeled personal items.

After grabbing the box, I turned and went back to the stairs. When I reached the second floor, I noticed that there were 5 rooms. The first room closest to the stairs was empty, the second was the bathroom, and the other three were empty.

I chose the room at the end of the hallway, I liked my privacy. I went in and I set the box I was holding onto the floor. The room was a light blue with a window looking out towards the city and a door that led to my own private terrace. My bed and vanity desk were already in the room, along with my dresser.

After placing the box on the floor, I open it and the first thing I see is my prized necklace, that my first boyfriend, Jack got me on our first date. I slowly lift it up and I carefully place it on my dresser.

The next thing that I grab out of the box is a signed picture of all of the ninja. I got it when they saved my village when we were attacked by the Serpentine. And of course since their identities must be kept a secret from everybody they signed the picture using their elemental names, like The Master of Earth, for example.

I hang up the picture by my bed. After I finish unpacking the box, I go downstairs to get the rest of them. I see my mom hanging up some pictures in the living room. One of them is of me and her, along with my dad, on Christmas Eve.

After another hour or so, I finally finished unpacking my things, from the boxes. I lay on my bed and get out my phone. I go to Instagram and I look at my feed, there are a few pictures of my friends from Jamanakia, swimming at the lake. After looking at my feed, I call Bella to see what she's up to. She answers on the second ring.

"Hey y/n, how was the move?" "Hey Bella, it went pretty well, the house has two floors and my new room has a balcony overlooking the city" I explain to my best friend. "Really, that's cool y/n" "I guess so, so what's been going on with you guys lately since I left?" "Oh well ever since you left, we've just been hanging out and saying how much we missed you." "Really?" I asked with surprise in my voice. "Yeah, look I've got to go now, my mom is calling for me." "Ok, well I'll talk to you later then" "yeah, ok bye Y/N" "bye Bella" I say ending the call.

After calling Bella, I go and see if my mom needs any help with unpacking downstairs. When I reach the bottom of the stairs, I find my mom is done unpacking. "Hey mom" "oh hey Y/N, I'm almost done unpacking, then I'll make supper." "Okay, I'll help" I said as I grabbed one of the boxes labeled bathroom. "Okay, thanks Y/N." I pick up the box and I take it upstairs.

I place it on the floor of the bathroom. I open up the box and I take out a soap dispenser shaped like a flower, then I take out a towel rack and a few other things, before putting the empty box into the hallway, and going back to my room.

As I wait for my mom to make supper, I get on my laptop and I pull out a pair of headphones. I then watch a few videos of DanTDM. After a while I smell something delicious. "Y/N! Supper's ready!" my mom calls up to me.

"Okay mom," I say as I get off of my bed while also turning off my laptop and I started heading down to the kitchen. I reach the kitchen and I am met with the sight of lasagna. I sit at the table after getting a cup of chocolate milk. "This looks good mom" I say as I grab the spatula and I grab a piece from the dish. "Thanks Y/N," "you're welcome mom" I say as I start eating the food.

"So, you ready for your first day at Ninjago High tomorrow?" "No, not really" I say after I get a drink. "It'll be okay Y/N, you'll make some friends soon." "Yeah, I know, but at least maybe I can see the ninja while we're here." I said with a hint of happiness and longing in my voice.

"Y/N, why do you like them so much? I mean sure they save this city, but they can be dangerous, especially with those huge mechs they always seem to have." "I know, but they saved Jamanakai, and I want to see them again." "I know, but just be careful okay, I don't want you getting hurt because of them." "I know" after we finished eating supper, I help mom clear the table.
