Once, there lived a sly tailor. He would take old robes and rub coloured flour into them. Then he would rub them with a shell till they shone like new. He would then display the robes outside his door. Many people would be attracted by these shining robes and buy them. Later, they would wash them and the colour would come off. Those who went to the tailor to complain, heard him say "That is not what I sold you. Why are you fooling me?" Once, another tailor, who was also a great cheat, heard about this tailor. So, he made a basket load of old clothes that shone like new, and arrived at the cheating tailor's house. The cheating tailor picked out a soft, multicolored robe. He had no money with him and said so, but the other tailor said that he would take his robe in exchange. The cheating tailor agreed, even though his was a new robe in excellent quality. Later, he washed the robe and the colour ran! The cheating tailor realised he had been cheated someone smarter then him. Now he new what people felt, so he changed into an honest tailor from that day on.
