I came up with this at midnight because I was aggravated at some "friends".
I used to think
Friends, they'd never sink
Yeah I know we make mistakes
But when you realize the stakes
You'd think it might go different
My "friends" go around thinking they're all cool
But in reality they're just silly fools
I thought they were Christians
But they're only on one mission--
Pleasure
Well atleast according to their gestures
They say they love the Christ
But there is no sacrifice
In their life
Lord, help me through this time
When all I'm seeing is this crime
God, let me be a light
For these people who think they're alright,
Fine without you
Living life as though
You don't know what they've been through
Help me Lord to do what's right
'cause I know Jesus,
You are the Light.
