The sky outside looked a bit cloudy, there was a strong breeze, and the ocean seemed a bit more vicious than usual. I was pretty sure that was a sign that a storm was coming, so I told Kyo that he should do the hunting since he’s feeling better, and then I’ll do some fishing and get the water, just to be on the safe side.
While I was fishing, I started to feel tired. I caught plenty of fish, but before I knew it, I was asleep. When I woke up, I was still by the river and it was dark. I went back to the shelter with the water and fish. What was weird was that in the shelter, I was sucked into some weird machine, and when I came out, I was in a wedding dress. I didn’t know what the hell was going on, so I ran around the island trying to find Kyo.
When I found him, he was at the star spot, just like last time. What was really weird was there was a wedding ceremony set up. And to make things even weirder, my friends and family, that were murdered, were there to see it. Why am I dreaming of this… I’m starting to scare myself.
I knew this had to be a dream, but it was so nice to see my family alive and my friends, so I enjoyed it. My dad came up next to me, and walked me down the aisle like they do at all weddings. Once I got to the end, I hugged my dad. I didn’t let go for a long time because I really did miss him and wanted him to stay here.
I finally had to let go of my dad, who then walked back to his seat. My family still seemed so happy, just like they were on the cruise. We went through the ceremony, me staring into Kyo’s amazing red eyes. They seemed to be as red as the blood from the animals we usually slaughtered for dinner. That may sound weird and creepy, but I enjoy violence… sort of. Anyways, once we got through the ceremony, we got to the vows.
Kyo’s words were, “Sakura, I do, truly, love you. I want to be with you forever.” I was so happy at this moment, but I hated how it was all just a dream. God, why must my mind be so desperate… My vows were, “Kyo, I may be confused about my feelings, but I’m sure somewhere deep, down inside my heart, I do, truly, love you too.” When we reached the part with the kissing, Kyo pulled my face towards his gently, and just before the kiss, I woke up for real this time.
When I woke up, Kyo’s face was right above mine. Now I’m wondering wait a minute, was he going to kiss me while I was sleeping?
“Welcome back, my princess.”
“Hey, you called me ‘my princess’ again. What is up with that? And what time is it?”
There was a long, awkward pause. I realized it was still about daytime, but there were even more clouds and the wind was even stronger. I knew the storm was going to start soon, but I was wondering why Kyo wouldn’t say anything. He seemed so quiet and shy at the moment. It wasn’t like him.
“Did I say something wrong?”
“No, I just don’t really know why I called you ‘my princess’ again.”
He was blushing, which made me a bit suspicious. I could tell he was lying about not knowing why he called me ‘my princess’ again. I’m pretty sure that is a sign of his love. I think it’s a cute way of him to show it. I asked him to take the water and I would take the fish back to the shelter.
