We were trying to conserve the food, so we had a little bit less than usual. During the night, I wasn’t able to sleep, thinking about the weird dreams I was having. They always led to Kyo and I kissing, but just before the kiss, I would wake up. Is that a sign? Does it mean Kyo isn’t the one? I ended up dozing off into sleep after about fifteen minutes of hardcore thinking.

The next morning, the storm was raging outside. I wanted to go to the spring, but it wouldn’t be smart in this weather. Kyo was still asleep, so I didn’t have to worry about him trying to scare me as usual.

I still was wondering what the dreams meant. Why they would stop at the same part, why they would always have Kyo acting so romantic, everything. The first dream just seemed like a hallucination, and the second one was obviously a dream, with my dead family and all. I guess they’re trying to show me what I’m really feeling, but all they’re doing is confusing me.

Anyways, I thought it would be fun to scare Kyo, to give him a taste of his own medicine. When he woke up, I popped up in front of him, and he screamed and crawled backwards. I was laughing so hard because of his reaction. It was hysterical.

“Oh my god, that was hilarious right there! Ha ha ha!”

“Is that how you feel when I do it?”

“Well, I don’t act like that, but yeah, I feel surprised. How does it feel?”

“I will get you back, so thanks for the reason for revenge.”

“Aw crap…”

I was cautious all day, but Kyo was in the corner doing something the whole time. I thought he was making something, but I wasn’t sure.

When it got late, the storm was still brewing, so we had made our din-din and had a nice, smaller than usual meal. The rain made me tired, so Kyo let me lie on his shoulder. It felt nice, so I got kind of closer because I was cold. I looked at Kyo, and he was looking away, blushing again. It seemed that whenever I did things like try to hug him or cuddle with him or something, he would always look away and blush. It was pretty adorable to me.

I woke up during the middle of the night, and I saw Kyo in the corner doing something. I thought he might be making something, but who knows. I decided to just go back to sleep.

The next morning, Kyo got his revenge on me, so now we were even. The storm was gone, so I wanted to go look around the island to see if anything got damaged. The hot spring was okay, but had some branches and leaves in it. My relaxing spot seemed to lose the leaves on the trees and some branches were broken off. Amazingly, the star spot wasn’t damaged at all, just a couple of leaves fell off the trees. The beach seemed to have fewer rocks on it, but had more shells.

Kyo found me as I was scanning the beach, but I saw the weirdest thing. There was an open crate in the distance. I asked Kyo if that was the crate he was in when he ended up here a while ago, but he said no. I ran over to the crate, Kyo following me.

The crate was completely empty, but there were footprints leading to somewhere. We followed the footprints, which were a bit hard to see in the grassy areas, and it ended up leading to the shelter. Kyo and I ran into the shelter, and when we got in there, we saw some random guy eating our food. I started to scream at the dude, yelling, “What the hell?! This is our stuff! Who the hell are you and when did you get here?!”

“Well excuse me, but I didn’t know. My name is Ryoma. I ended up here around the time the storm ended. You really don’t want to hear my story, it’s pretty stupid.”

“Oh come on, it’s probably not as bad as mine. My name is Sakura and I was on a cruise with my family. Some guys snuck onboard, took everyone hostage, and killed my family right in front of me. I got on a lifeboat and ended up here about a little more than a year ago.”

“Hey, I’m Kyo. My story is that I was a stowaway on a boat. Some guys found me in the cargo eventually, stuffed me in a crate, and threw me overboard. I ended up here about a month or two ago.”

“Okay, introductions done. Kyo and I have told our stories, now tell us yours.”

“It’s seriously stupid and a little bit embarrassing.”

“Aw, no one cares, come on. It’s okay to be embarrassed. I’ve been embarrassed, Kyo’s been embarrassed, so now it’s your turn to be embarrassed.”
