“Well, I was trying to run away from home. I was usually abused, and my parents would always fight. I never actually had a room of my own, so I would always just go in the corner at the farthest end of the house, away from them, and just listen to my music. One day, I got so sick of it, I ran away from home. I took my bike and went miles and miles, only with a little money, the clothes I was wearing, and my music. Eventually, I got to a shipping dock that was loading up crates. There was this really drunk guy picking stuff up with a crane and dumping it into crates. He picked me up by my shirt with the crane and dropped me into a crate. I wasn’t sure where I was being taken. I guess the ship went through the storm, and the crate I was in fell off the side of the ship. That’s how I ended up here. I was looking around the island for some food, and then ended up finding this place.”
“Well, that explains a lot, your welcome to stay with us if you like.”
After I said that, Ryoma gladly accepted my offer, but Kyo didn’t look too happy about it. I don’t know why, but maybe he was jealous that there was another guy here now. He did confess his love to me already. Maybe he’s afraid that we won’t have any alone time now.
I decided to show Ryoma around the island with all my favorite spots, and the important ones too. Kyo tagged along, but seemed to be in a bad mood. Randomly, Kyo pulls me behind and whispers to me, “Are you sure we can trust this guy? I mean, the family he was raised with sounded pretty bad, and he ran away from home.”
“Technically, you did too, unless you were an orphan or something. Why else would you be a stowaway?”
“Good point... but I still don’t trust him.”
“It’s fine, seriously. There’s nothing wrong with him. Instead of being so upset, why don’t you try being friends with him?”
“Um, I’m good. I just don’t feel like I can trust him.”
“Your loss. Hey, Ryoma! Wait up!”
We finished up our tour of the island, and then went back to the shelter to rest. We made him a cot, just like the other two, but we would need to make another blanket. Since it was too late, I let him use mine. Ryoma really didn’t want me to freeze, so we shared the blanket. Kyo seemed to be jealous, so he pulled me under his blanket. I was seriously wondering why Kyo wouldn’t just chill and just be friends with Ryoma, but he wouldn’t listen to reason.
Being under the same blanket with Kyo felt so warm, but I really wanted to see Kyo blush because it was so adorable to me. I can’t help feeling all funny inside when I see it. To do that, I slowly pulled myself really close to him. The closer I got, the more he would blush. Ryoma saw what was happening, grabbed my hand, and pulled me towards him.
Kyo then grabbed my other hand, and then suddenly, I was in the middle of a tug-of-war battle to the death. Eventually, I just decided to move to the other side of the room, so then I would freeze. Kyo and Ryoma both gave me their blankets, but then I gave them back saying, “Guys, I just need one. I can either share one blanket with one of you, you guys share one, or one of us freezes our asses off, you choose.”
They decided to just both freeze, but after they fell asleep, I gave them both a blanket and decided to just light the fire to keep the shelter warm.
