Compass' Story.

Tick Tock

      Tik, tok, tik, tok, clik, cling, CLONG!   AJ76 took apart the clock in her cell to break the chains around her arms, legs, and neck. She smashed the clock on the floor. Glass flew on the ground in the back side of the cell. Where she wouldn't step on the shards with her bare feet. She took out the clocks hand and put it in the neck lock. It freed. Joy sweeped through AJ76's body. She unlocked all the others. Finally, exhausted, she walked over to the door she unlocked the door deftly and opened the door into an unknown world. Immediately, she wook up, shocked, being out of her cell for the first time ever for her whole nineteen years. There was a long hallway of concrete. With pebbles  on the ground, she needed shoes.  She started running anyways. As she ran, she heard foot steps once she reached the end of the hallway, into an intersection.  She slid to stop quickly. Grabbed one of the  pebbles, and threw it across the other hallway. The guard ran toward it as AJ76 grabbed ahold of her, the guard. She had done exercises in the prison cell to stay fit. Before she caught the guard, she grabbed a larger rock to crash against their head. Once they were unconscious,  She undressed the guard to wear the armor. Only to conceal her identity. Of course,  AJ76 only had on a tight sports bra and underwear in the cell for all her life. So it was easy. Just slip on the black fabric underneath the armor and put on the armor itself. With a strange thing in the guards brown hair. AJ76 removed it and put her hair up ito a bun. Along with the fabric and the armor. Then she spotted boots. Eagerly, she put on the socks and the boots itself. 
       The weight was heavy against her body. She was so used to wearing tight, thin garments all of her life, so metal armor was a change. She wobbled  around other guards unnoticed. Some were men, and women. Suddenly AJ76 heard a large yell "AJ76 IS GONE!!!" Everyone stood frozen, a male pointed at her "Look at the red hair underneath the helment! Its her!!" AJ76 started running to the door that had light behind it. She took off the armor while running to reduce weight to where she only had on the black fabric. She slamed open the door. Green cleared the earth. Instead of seeing the dark grey concrete all her life. She saw this. The trees, grasses, and the light. She paused, then realized again what was happening. She ran again, then tripped over a branch. Suddenly she saw a black creature come after her. It bit her arm. She slapped its ear, it whined and she ran again, thick red blood dripping down her arm. She continued fast as she could until she escaped them.

     She walked a long distince until the sun was almost setting. She heard bushes rattle in the wind... or was it the wind? It was cold and dreary, with something creeping up on her. "Who's there?" She heard a voice. He emerged. Strange hair in two large curls in front of his face. With Big blue eyes, unlike her unique golden eyes. She held out her hand. "My name is AJ76" she said this like a robot. Unfamiliar with speech. She only learned the basics of the world from a guard named Hazel. She got lynched for teaching her. But this is why AJ76 learned most of her world. Unlike the hairtie she was wearing. 
    He steped back. "My. name. is. Warai." He said mocking her. She heard barking from the distance. "Hellhounds...." Warai said "RUN!!" They yelled together. She ran fast as she could until she reached a cottage. As Warai was running the other direction to fight the Hellhounds.
    She noticed that her arm was bleeding again she put her hand on it, when she relaesed, it was covered in blood. She had to find shelter. Luckily for her, there was a cottage in front of her. She knocked. "WARAI IS THAT YOU!!!!"  The voice was beautiful besides the yelling. This must be his home, she thought. She walked in "no..." AJ76 said. A beautiful woman walked out from a oak wood hallway. The cottage was amazing, with calm, and smokey, green carpet and sofas. She was also wearing a pretty smile when she saw AJ76. Then turned into a frown. She walked over and touched AJ76's shoulders. "Are you o.k?... OH! Your shoulder!" One of her hands picked up. She looked down at her shoulder. AJ76 had to look up to the woman. "Lets go into my room and fix you up." Confused, she followed the woman into the her room. They sat on the bed. AJ76's arm still bleeding. The woman then sat on the floor to get something from underneath the the bed, " A first First Aid Kit" she said. She pulled out an Oak wood box. Some obsession with oak wood  AJ76 thought. The woman pulled out a tourniquet  to stop the bleeding. "What's your name?" The woman picked her head up. "Majikku, call me M" She started to wrap it up AJ76's arm. "And yours?" AJ76 didn't want to realese her name, but she felt like she had to. "Um... the guards call me AJ76, so I guess thats my name." Majikku looked stunned "AJ76!? GUARDS!" The exclamation scared AJ76. Majikku positioned her hands in apology. "Im sorry" she said. They stared at each other in the momment.
