"Nicole!" A voice running from behind me yelled, I was in no mood to talk with him I didn't even want to see him, but yet here we are.
"I don't wanna talk to you!" I groaned continuing to walk to my car and go home for the night.
It was enough I had to see him in therapy, but here he was following me too my car?
"Nicole just wait!" He said finally catching up to me and grabbing my arm.
"What!?" I yelled furiously turning to me those eyes I adored so much yet I hated too see.
"I had no idea it was you, I-"
"It's whatever we're over right? You seem to have chosen Kim." I pointed out.
"Your the one who left me that letter, I had no choice but to move on Nicole!" He argued.
"And you did considering your in my marriage counseling session!" I yelled.
"Right!"
"Right! Then why are you following me!?" I asked just over this entire thing, I was tired I wanted to go home and go too sleep and instead here I was standing in a middle of the parking lot arguing with him.
"Because i'm not sure i'm over you!" He yelled.
"That's not my fault." I whispered yet taken by surprise at his sudden confession.
"Nicole.." He sighed releasing my arm. "It's been years since i've seen you..but i've never forgotten you, there has to be some reason behind that right?" He asked his eyes held his anxiousness.
"Look..Your Wife is paying me to fix you two..and that's what i'm going to do." I said biting my lip doubting my own words for a split second.
"Nicole..I'm at my best with you." He said shaking his head. "Your loud, you don't hold back on anyone, and I love that about you, you bring out my best because you aren't afraid to tell me the truth." He said.
I stood there for a minute processing his words, but I knew I couldn't let myself fall back into that trap. Some people just weren't meant to be, he should know this.
"Marshall i'm sorry."
