Friday

"Tom I still don't know yet. I've barely started my english assignment." I say through the phone.

"Baby come on. This is his birthday party, I have to go." He whines. I roll my eyes and click my pen.

"Then why don't you just go, I'll stay here." I say even though I don't really like the idea.

"I'm not gonna go if you don't." He says seriously. I smile slightly and shake my head.

"You're killin me T." I sigh. He laughs.

"I'll be there in like five minutes." He says. I shake me head.

"Alright." I hang up and groan. I place my phone down and push away from my desk. I go to my wardrobe and sigh. I hate going out. Only because I hate getting ready. There are so many places I can go to that don't require me having to get ready. And Tom likes to push it. I pull out jeans and a t shirt and throw it on quickly.

As I'm slipping on my shirt I hear a knock at my door. It takes Tom like six minutes to walk to my dorm. The guys dorm is across campus in an attempt to keep us as far away as possible. That still does not stop anyone. Toms got in trouble for being in my dorm once. And that's because they were doing dorm checks and he was asleep on my bed.

"Coming." I say. I open the door and Tom is leaning against the frame. He flashes me a big smile. I look at his outfit choice of a white shirt, denim jeans, and a black leather jacket.

"What's the special occasion?" I ask raising an eyebrow. He steps in and chuckles.

"What are you talking about?" He asks raising his eyebrows. He sits on my bed and lays on his side. I grab a brush off my desk.

"You look like a greaser, in a good way of course." I say smiling. His mouth falls open.

"A greaser?" He says laughing. I start brushing my hair and I nod.

"Yeah, if you let me slick your hair back you could definitely pull it off." I say. He laughs.

"Don't get any ideas cheeks." He says. I roll my eyes and smile. I throw my brush back on my desk and then Tom stands up. He pulls me into a hug.

"Thank you for agreeing to come." He says. I pull away so I could look at his face.

"Well I can't say no to you." I say raising my eyebrows.

"No you cannot." He smiles. He presses his lips against mine I kiss him back and then pull away.

"You ready?" He asks.

"I guess." I say rolling my eyes. He wraps his arm around my shoulders and squeezes me.

"Were gonna have fun babe." He says. I just smile and we walk out the door.

I get out of the car and Tom comes up next to me.

"There hasn't been a party here in forever." I say looking at the frat house.

"Yeah, after someone jumped off the balcony and broke their neck they kind of stopped for a while." Tom says grabbing my hand. I look at him.

"Really?! I thought it was because they burned down the kitchen?" I ask as we start walking towards the house.

"That was part of it too." He says laughing. I laugh too.

"Tommy!!" Someone shouts. We both turn our heads and see one of Toms friends.

"Chuck. What's up man?" He asks shaking his hand. Chuck had no shirt on and had a bandana tied around his head. He was all sweaty and red.

"Nothing much bro. Just getting some fresh air man." He says obviously drunk or on some kind of drug.

"Is that Cameron?" He asks looking at me.

"Yup, I got one girl I hold hands with." Tom says sarcastically. Chuck laughs.

"What's up Cameron! I didn't know you'd be here." He says. I smile at him.

"Yeah Tom convinced me." I say. He laughs.

"Alright I'm gone. I'll see you guys later." He says. Tom laughs and pats him on the back. We continue walking up to the house.

"I think he has a drinking problem, I've never seen that man sober." I joke. He laughs.

"That's like half of these frat guys." He says. I hug his arm.

"I'm so glad you decided to not join a frat." I say laughing. He rolls his eyes. We get up to the door and he opens it. Just as I thought, a lot of people are here. I see people I know, but it's mostly people I don't. Tom doesn't let go of my hand as he walks through the crowd of people.

He goes to the living room and pushes through the sea of sweaty drunk bodies. We get to the kitchen and Tom instantly finds one of his belligerent friends.

"Tommy! What the fuck is going on?" His friend yells loudly. I stand next to Tom while scanning the room.

"What's up Jay. You remember Cameron right?" Tom asks making me turn my head back into the conversation. I smile at the guy not remembering his name in the slightest. He smiles at me.

"Yes dude. How's is going Cam?" He asks me. I smile up at him.

"Pretty good yeah, what about you?" I ask him.

"I'm chilling for sure. I'm so fucked up." He says and starts laughing Tom joins him but I just smile keeping quiet. Tom continues to make conversation to him but I keep looking around.

I watch all the sloppy drunks making their rounds through the whole house. I hear a loud commotion of laughter come from across the room so I let my eyes linger in that direction. I see a group of guys all huddled around in a circle being loud and doing something. One of them steps to the side and my heart drops to my stomach.

Harry's standing to the side with a smile on his face and a cigarette in his hand. My breath hitches in my throat and I watch him for a second. He was wearing a black jacket with a black shirt underneath. I glance away from him and look at Tom for a second. He's still laughing with his friend so I turn my head again and my eyes meet Harry's. I try to look away but it was difficult when he was staring me down. I finally blink and look down at my shoe. I snake my arm around Toms and clear my throat.

"You okay?" Tom asks me with a small smile. I smile up at him and nod.

"Yeah, I need to start drinking though." I say raising my eyebrows. He laughs and nods.

"You're right you're right. Let's do this." He says clapping his hands. I chuckle and he starts looking for something.

I glance up and look across the room. Harry's eyes were still on me but I quickly look away.

Of course he would be here tonight.
