i finally recieved her call. i thought i'd never do. we agreed on meeting in the local park at five o'clock.
and by the way, i think i'll never sing those songs to the girl they are dedicated to. i don't want to seem like, too clingy.
"hey" she hugged me. "how are you?"
"i'm fine, what about you?" i smiled.
"bleh, i'm still trying to figure out what to do."
"about what?"
"i'm sorry, the one that asks awkward and private questions is me." i forced a laugh. what the hell. she noticed it so she continued. "you'd probably just run away as far as you can from me if i tell you. you know, a girl's got her own secrets."
"excuse me but boys have secrets too, mrs. know-it-all."
"they're probably just worried about someone finding out they ate the last cookie."
"that's lame." i said jokingly. she was in a good mood today.
"that's boys." she smirked. "wanna go sit?"
"stupid. and yeah that'd be nice. i mean, i get that you get tired easily. i don't want to force you to any physical activity. your legs are probably too weak."
"shut up, it's not like your arnold sch... what was his name?"
"girls...."
we talked for about one hour, nonstop. she was a pretty cool girl and i liked her humor sense quite a lot. it was getting late so i invited her to my place. we drank cheap wine and laughed a lot.
i was probably expecting a part of what comes after this, but i'd never guess i'd find out about the reason behind her sadness, which by the way, she was trying so hard to hide.
some things are better left unsaid.
but this was overwhelming.
