Runexi's notes:

Please consider reading these following stories (all can be found in my work list) before you proceed. Recommended reading order:

|| Start with "One Lifetime is Never Enough", until chapter 27;

|| Continue with "Loving You For a Lifetime" until the end;

|| Continue with "One Lifetime is Never Enough" chapter 28 onwards, until the end;

|| Continue with "Remembering You For Eternity" until the end.

Then you can properly enjoy "You Are My String of Fate" (and "Because It's You", the other story with BxB pairing). Some of the characters from those stories are in this story. Not reading the prior stories won't take too much experience, but you will (probably) enjoy this story more when you know who's who.

Thank you for reading my stories <3

In the Immortal plane, time was not pertinent. It was a place not confined by space or the law of physics normally known to humans.

Residents of the Immortal plane; from deities, normal immortals, to mythical beasts, possessed the purest of souls and the strongest of karmic power. Everyone lived harmoniously, regardless of what their interests or duties were. The mythical beasts did not need to worry about being hunted or going hungry.

Of all the living beings, the deities presided as the highest in status.

These deities are tasked in maintaining the equilibrium of various realms and souls living in those realms. From the world of the living, to the world of the dead, various deities toiled ceaselessly. Some of them were birthed from the universe itself - manifestations of the strongest souls that brought forth physical appearance of these beings who wanted to protect the worlds that had given birth to them.

Some of them were immortals that were previously normal humans, who had cultivated enough and gained recognition from the other deities.

Only a few of these deities were able to traverse across realms, as their duties dictated and deemed necessary. The worlds were many, the souls were countless. The deities never had a dull day.

Yet, at the moment, there was one deity who wished for nothing more than a dull day.

The Immortal plane was a place of wonder and tranquility. However, the place where this deity was residing at, was definitely not tranquil.
