chapter one

annie's pov
i was finally going back to la! i got so excited because i was gonna see my friends from there and my amazing boyfriend, hayden summerall. i love him with all my heart, and nothing can really stop that. especially since we're almost about to make two years. i was just coming back from selling my house in maryland. anyway, we finally arrive and i go to the airport expecting to see my boyfriend but instead, i see my best friend brynn rumfallo. i literally drop my bags and run up to her and hug the life out of her.
annie: i miss you so much!
brynn: i missed you more! *says while letting go*
annie: i thought hayden was coming as well?
brynn: no, he said he was meeting up with johnny.
annie: isn't johnny still in canada?
brynn: i don't know and i don't care.
annie: *laughs* anyways, let's get going.
annie's pov
on our way back home, i was really unsure of hayden hanging out with his best friend johnny because he'd always post on his insta story him hanging out with johnny. so i decided to text him.
*texting*
annie: hey johnny!
johnny: annie? hey what's up? haven't talked to ya in foreva.
annie: lol anyways, your with hayden right?
johnny: no, im on the plane to la right now.
annie: oh ...
johnny: is something wrong?
annie: hayden said he was hanging out with you today.
johnny: strange, talk to him.
annie: i will, thanks.
johnny: no problem, and by the way we should hang out on my way back.
annie: sure why not.
*end of texting*
annie: he's not hanging out with hayden ...
brynn: what?
annie: i texted johnny. *shows brynn the messages*
brynn: well how about we go get froyo right now and on our way back you can talk to him.
annie: *sighs* you really can brighten up a girls mood m
brynn: i sure can.
annie's pov
after me unpacking all my stuff, caleb dropped me and brynn off at city walk to go get some froyo. while we were eating our froyo, we talked about some random nonsense and all.
annie: ahh i cant wait for the dogs to come.
brynn: oh i would wanna squeeze piper's little face.
annie: and winnie!
brynn: of course we couldn't forget ... *sees someone*
annie: brynn?
brynn: umm annie, i don't want to be the terrible friend but ... *points in front of annie*
annie: *turns around to see hayden and kenzie playing around while hayden kisses her*
annie: h-h-he's cheating on me?
brynn: an—
annie: *walks up to hayden and kenzie* how could you hayden?
hayden: annie! i can ex—
annie: explain what? that your cheating on me with mackenzie ziegler? do you not remember what she did to me before?
hayden: annie i know but—
kenzie: just forgive and forget leblanc. hayden has moved on, he loves me more than you. and you know it. *says while kissing him*
annie: just to let you know hayden, we're over. *says in a soft voice and walks out of the froyo place to go to the bathroom with brynn following*
brynn: sweetheart, you don't need hayden at all. he's a total dick head for doing that shit with kenzie.
annie: *cries more* did he even love me?
brynn: if he loved you, he would've never done that.
annie: *cries more and sees she has received a text from johnny*
"hey annie, just got back from canada and im here now, wanna hang out? you can bring a friend if you want so the media won't go crazy."
annie: *gets out of the stall*
brynn: *hugs annie* forget hayden, girls night?
annie: johnny texted.
brynn: johnny orlando?
annie: *nods her head*
brynn: what'd he say?
annie: he asked if i wanted to hang out with him and that i can bring a friend.
brynn: of course say yes! but why is he wanting to hang out in the first place when he could've done that a year ago when he was here.
annie: *shrugs*
*texting*
annie: hey johnny, and of course i'd love to hang out.
johnny: great! where to??
annie: umm your place? my brother is pretty annoying lol.
johnny: alright, my sister is back home at canada "extra packing" so.
annie: 7:00 pm?
johnny: of course!
annie: ill bring brynn with me.
johnny: sure, can i bring hayden?
annie: umm i really don't wanna see him.
johnny: okay, whateva you say.
