Kody's Regrets

(I just realized that title reminds me of Attack on titans:No regrets ,anyone else?Just me Okay?Pls enjoy this chapter!😁)

Lumine's POV
I woke up to feel weight being push against my side.I looked toward my side and saw Kody I tried siting up but immediately regretted it feeling a sharp pain hit my chest.I winced and carefully laid back down and stared at Kody not noticing a smile creeping up and spreading across my face.

"Your finally awake,"a familiar voice said I looked toward the voice to see Aiden

"How long was I asleep?"I asked looking up at the ceiling

"3 days I think,"Aiden says

"What happened?" I asked rubbing my forehead getting a major headache

"Well when Kody came home he collapsed with you in his arms luckily Shiro and Silver was there to call a doctor and took care of your wounds,"Aiden said giving out a sigh of relief

"How has Kody been?"I asked moving my head to look at Kody

"Well...he's been really worried about you,"my eyes widened 'Kody cares' I thought before Aiden continued "I'm as shocked as you Kody doesn't care about anyone but it seems he cares about you....anyway back to Kody being worried he was so worried he didn't eat or sleep he didn't even leave this room he only left if he needed water or the bathroom all this leading up to him being like this,"Aiden says and sighs

"Well I better leave you so you can get some rest,"Aiden said giving a small smile before leaving the room.I looked over to Kody I rubbed my hand in his hair

Soft
I blushed lightly before removing my hand from Kody's head and looked up toward the ceiling.After a couple of minutes my eyes fluttered shut and sleep consumed me.

Time skip

When I woke up it was night time.I looked toward the window the moon lighting up the room a little bit.I must have moved my leg that Kody was sleeping on because he started to wake up.His gaze shot to my face I gave a small smile the moon shown against the windows glass, the light making my figure shine.

"Kody,"I whispered

"I-"Kody stood up but tripped and was about to fall.I used all my will power to get up and ignore the pain that was like a scorching flame against my chest.I caught him before he fell but consequently I fell too.We landed on the floor I was on top of him the pain in my chest still stung but not as bad. I got up quickly regretting it shortly after the pain in my chest intensified I winced and stayed put pinning Kody to the floor my eyes closed.I could here whimpering from below me I opened my eyes to see Kody crying, his mouth covered with the back of his hand.

"I'm sorry...I didn't do anything....that I was worthless....I'm the reason your hurt,"he said in between sobs.I couldn't take it anymore all that regret all of the sadness it made water come to my eyes.A tear spread across my cheek as Kody kept saying stuff like he's worthless or he shouldn't be alive. I wanted him to stop talking about regrets and all the sadness of my injury and anger he felt to himself.I did something that I never thought I'd do.I kissed him.His lips soft and gentle.I bit hit lip and he gasped I took the opportunity and slipped my tongue in his mouth memorizing every inch of his mouth.I twirled my tongue around his his saliva tasted sweet.I wanted more.But Kody gently pulled me away, we were out of breath my tongue was out, missing the touch of his tongue wrapped around mine.Kody had a massive blush he looked like he was in a daze his eyes haft lidded as we stared at each other. I got off of him after a couple of minutes my arms growing tired.I leaned on the wall, sitting up feeling dizzy my chest felt like a knife was twisted in my wound.Kody looked at my chest concern and worry flowing in his eyes

"Lumine!"I heard Kody almost yell to me before everything went black.

Time skip
I woke up to see the suns light blinding my eyes I looked away to see Aiden closing the bedroom door letting himself in with a bowl and Kody leaning his head on his shoulder as he sat on a chair sleeping.He had dark circles around his eyes he looked tired like he didn't sleep for days.

"Ah Lumine you woke up,"Aiden said handing me the bowl as I sat up the bowl had what looked like chicken soup in it.

"What happened?"I asked getting ready to eat the soup my mouth watering my stomach reminding me I haven't eaten in days

"Well last night your stitches opened so we had to call the doctors to help get your wound stitched back up,"he explained and then continued "You really scared us,"he sighed softly

"Sorry,"I say looking down at the hot soup

"Sooo what were you doing to get your stitches opened?"Aiden asked after a couple of minutes as I remembered what happened last night a blush spread across my face almost making me spill my soup

"Nothing,"I say looking at my soup still blushing from the question

"No no no your blushing that's not nothing,"Aiden teased as I cover my face in embarrassment

"Hey leave him alone so he can eat, dad,"I hear what sounds like Kody's voice said in a raspy and hoarse voice

I uncovered my eyes and looked over to Kody he stood up his legs shook a little but he still managed to get to my bed side

"Oh Kody your awake well I'll leave you to alone so Lumine can eat and get some rest....bye!"He says cheerfully and got out the room

"Shouldn't you be sleeping,"I say gesturing to his eyes

"Your one to talk Mr.Injured,"Kody says while leaning on my bedside near my feet and looking out the window

Even though we were having a somewhat cheerful conversation the room was filled with tension so much that you could cut it with a knife.After a couple minutes of silence ,partly because of me eating the rest of my soup while looking at Kody's eyes his expression showed his usual bored self but his eyes showed sadness and regret.

"Kody come over here,"I said breaking the silence and gestured Kody to come closer.He slowly edged closer toward me.Once he was close enough I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him

"L-Lumine!"he stuttered his eyes widened

"Lay down with me,"I say looking up toward his face he nodded and I backed away scooting to the other side of the bed making enough space for Kody to lay down.Once he was under the soft sheets I wrapped my arms around his chest pulling him closer.After a couple seconds he wrapped his arms around my waist.I buried my face against Kody's chest after a couple of minutes Kody's breaths became softer and he finally went to sleep.I did the same fluttering my eyes closed falling asleep.

Well hope that was a good chapter, it was longer too and with more Komine!Anyway I want you readers opinion if you like the chapters longer or shorter I might just make the chapters as long as I intend them to be or think there going to be witch is like 800 or 900 words or less depending on how much Komine I'll put in to a chapter
Anyway bye
