Okay... On with the chapter!!! oh and btw.. the fun is only just getting started ;)
A surge of lighting strikes Ayden as he races around the all too familiar, stone walls of the Maze, narrowly missing its burning energy.
Hands out strentched and her dark red hair tangled by the wind, Yyasmina shoots another bolt from her palms, summoning them from the sky simultaniously.
"You can't run forever Ayden..." Her seductive, smooth voice seems to cling down the walls, ringing through each damp piece of moss and shaking the very earth.
I can see Ayden's face from my posotion perched on the tallest branch of the giant red-wood that sits in the middle of the Maze, I can see the expression of both pain and determination on his face.
I realise that this is why I...
We...
Need to win this war.

"Remember what Alys?" Ayden's face shows just how confused he is inside. His mouth is curved into a cute smile, his dimples showing, but his eyes show that he is worried.
"My names not Alys..." I have a lot more bitterness in my voice than I had hopes for.
"Okay... Then what is your name?" The comforting efforts of Ayden are doing nothing to console me. I begin to tear up and I can feel the breathe being drawn out from my lungs.
An warm hand settles on my shoulder, gently stroking my collar bone before stopping suddenly as I look deep into Ayden's anxious yet seemingly loving eyes.
"I don't understand Aly..." His words fade as he remembers what I had said before. "I don't know what is going on with you. Just tell me. Tell me the truth."
Before I say anything I feel a sudden urge to re-assure him that I didn't understand myself, that I knew as much as he did.
"I...I didn't kno..." I begin but tears overtake my words, the taste of my salty tears that flood down my cheeks landing in my open mouth.
"It's okay... Just, start with your name. your real name." His hand retracts and I suddenly feel alone.
"My name is Alswyre, Princess of the Kingdom of Solemn, Dauther of the once noble King Nightfall, Duaghter of Queen 'Mother' Nature and the rightfull heir to the thrown." I realise how mad I sound and decide to add, "And I'm not mad."
A smile appears on Aydens face, not a scared or pityful smile but a genuine smile.
"Okay...I've got to say, I wasn't expecting that..." I can tell by his tone that he believes me and that makes me feel much better about the whole situation. "Just one question Princess, Why are you in my house then?"
Ayden goes to wink but stops himself as he begins to blush. "That part I haven't quite worked out. All I know is that I am here to fid my mother."
"Oh you mean 'mother' Nature?" This time his voice sounds a little more sarcastic, although I can't tell if it was meant that way.
"You don't believe me?"
"No, I do Princess, it's just when you say 'mother' Nature... Do you mean... You know?" I struggle with this question, rolling it over in my mind for a while before answering.
"Come with me..."

At the park I pick a large Oak tree with low branches to stand under. After standing directly underneath the tree, a flash of memories of my teacher lecturing me to ensure that the angle is perfect, that I am exactly five wide steps away from the tree before doing anything come streaming through my head.
I take five wide paces out in front of the enormus tree before doing a half turn with out moving my arms from my sides and then double check the angle in my head.
I can see Ayden intently watching and I m glad that it is still too early for the park to be packed with people.
"You ready?!" I shout to Ayden,
"Yes Princess!" he shouts back. He seems to like calling me that.
I lift my arms slowly, both at the same time and carefully move them apart so that they face outwards.I clench my fingers into a fist before lowering my arms down to my sides again.
"Arbor Divido" My voice is low and my breathe shallow but as my eyes open the tree parts, mimicing the motion of my arms.
I turned my head to look at Ayden, ensuring that my arms do not move. HIs eyes are twinkling and his face is alight with astonishment.
"Wait there's more!" I yell back, "Frons Valaret" The whisper is even quieter this time and as my voice fades I quickly release my fingers from their fist, holding them straight and rigid.
As I do so leaves shot out from the tree, wedging them self into the trunk of another tree that stands behind me like spears.
I spin on the spot until I am facing the parted tree again and another set of leaves shot out of the tree, copying my motion and wedging themselves into the trunk of the big oak.
"So?" I turn to Ayden letting my arms relax as the tree returns to it's normal shape and the leaves fall the the ground leaving behind small scratched in the bark. "What do you think?"
