Chapter 3 - "Wait, you guys are the MARAUDERS!?"

Sirius Black, upon hearing the news that his cousin was not only engaged to but married to one of his best friends, Remus Lupin, was so shocked that he couldn't speak for approximately 10 minutes.

Meanwhile James was ecstatic that his friend, who he thought was never going to get a girlfriend due to his lycanthropy and fear of affecting anyone who got closer to him, was married and seemed to be happy about it given the look on Remus' face when he pulled Tonks in for a hug and a quick kiss. However, he was quite surprised when Remus started questioning his wife about 'Teddy' because he didn't know any 'Teddy's' and certainly none who Remus seemed to be particularly concerned about.

"Wait, Tonks, what's Teddy going to do?"

"I think that mum's going to take him in. I really wish that he didn't have to be an orphan though."

"I hope Harry will take some care of him as he is godf..."

"Did you two just say orphan?" James questioned. His musings had been interrupted by the sudden realisation that two people who were married had just died and were talking about what seemed to be a recently orphaned child.

This comment seemed to snap Sirius out of his state of shock as he proceeded to exclaim, "No way, did you guys..."

"Uh-huh cousin we had a baby boy who like myself is a metamorphmagus named Edward 'Teddy' Lupin and now is an orphan."

Tonks and Remus sighed, knowing that their son was now left to grow up as an orphan.

"Aw cute we have a mini-moony!" Said James

Lily rolled her eyes and just congratulated the couple on their marriage and birth of their son.

Sirius, deciding to act, surrounded the two in another of his bone-crushing hugs whilst quietly whispering to Remus that if he hurt Tonks then he would be answering to him.

Remus just nodded but said that he would never leave her because she made him so happy.

With that, Lily decided to talk with Tonks as she wanted to get to know her and she wanted to find out more about her metamorphmagus abilities

With the girls away the marauders who were finally back together decided to plan their next big prank. It was going to be epic, considering that the marauders hadn't performed a prank together in over 14 years.

"So Moony, Padfoot, we're going to..."

"Wait, you guys are the MARAUDERS!?" Interrupted Fred Weasley who had just appeared in the afterlife and had walked in on the trio who were excitedly plotting.

"Ah, Fred, I'm assuming that you died in the battle too. Such a shame, I bet the Weasley family will be devastated, especially George. Yes, we are the original marauders. James, this is Fred Weasley, one of Molly and Arthur's many sons, and part of the duo that continued on from our pranking 'legacy' at hogwats. I think that he found the map that we left behind in his first year and has used it to plot and fill the school with mischief." Remus said, answering Fred's question and also introducing him to James who was slightly confused about his knowledge of the marauders.

"But professor, you never told us that you were a marauder!"

"Wait Moony was a PRFOESSOR!? At Hogwarts!?" James was roaring with laughter at the fact that his friend actually taught at Hogwarts after pranking there for so long.

"Yes James I was the DADA professor at Hogwarts for a year. And yes Fred I am a marauder although you may know me better by my nickname Moony. James, who is Harry's father, is known as Prongs and Sirius, who you already know, is known as Padfoot. The traitor Pettigrew who is no longer considered a marauder was known as Wormtail."

"I still can't believe that you never told me. Anyway, is this a prank that I walked into the middle of you plotting? Because if it is I'd love to help. I did own a joke shop you know."

And so the marauders and Fred continued to plot one of their most amazing pranks that they were about to pull on the unsuspecting women.
