It's almost time for speeches. I am already dreading this. Mostly because Gena said some things that has really pissed off Charles and Weds. I knew I should've told Gena to leave shes up to something.
I just Can't quite figure it out.
I decided to dance with everyone for awhile. The DJ makes an announcement letting us know it is cake cutting time.
We walk over to our cake as 'Love and Marriage' plays by Frank Sinatra.
Zacky places his hand over top of mine and we slice the cake on each side and slide it onto a plate, Zacky takes a half and I do as well. He tries to slam the cake in my face but smarter then that I laugh, dodge the cake and smear my sliver all over his face.
"Nice, delish." He chuckles I kiss his lips.
"Mmm that is delish." I say licking my lips. He sneaks another piece when I pull away he slams it in my face.
"Ahh! Asshole!" I laugh. So does everyone else.
Once we clean up Johnny Gera cuts cake for everyone to enjoy. Soft music is playing in the background. I look around for Lilly and see that she is still with Zackys parents. I thought that would make my un-easy stomach pain go away.
Yeah right.
Not able to put it off any longer it's speech time. Jimmy goes and gets a mic and then starts his speech.
'Please be good, Please be good.' I think to myself.
"Hey everyone. What a reception huh?" They all cheer. Lifting their glasses in the air.
"I have know Abby and Zacky for years initially I have known Zacky longer. But I stopped counting. As long as I have known Abs and Vengeance they have always been so cute together. There isn't a day that went by that they haven't made me gag." Max slaps him and he chuckles.
Everyone laughs
"Then one day little Abby came home and told us she was pregnant with little Miss. Lilly Baker." Lilly claps her hands.
"Me!!" She yells.
"Yes you." Jimmy chuckles
"Thats when Zacky decided it be a perfect time to go cheat with Gena."
'And here we go!' I think to myself.
"However, when Lilly was born, Zacky changed. He started being more responsible, he grew up, he became a dad and a mature boyfriend. I am glad my two best friends are happily married....And not to some money grubbing whore."
He puts the mic down and sits beside max, as the entire room is silent.
'A perfect ending and then that mouth of Jimmys. Ugh!'
Charles takes her turn at the mic...
I shift in my seat.
"Where do I start? I have been friends with Abigail since we were ten, nine.. I can't remember. A really long freaking time. We haven't been apart since. None of us girls. I knew Zacky just a little longer. Zacky has been so good for Abby. I am glad that they are married. However, I don't understand why, he would invite Gena here, when she has no right-"
"Excuse me! He invited me here. We're friends we cleared the air and Abby didn't object!!!" She stands hands on her hips.
'Oh boy here were go.'
"Bitch! Sit down and shut up!" Weds yells from beside me.
I groan when everyone starts arguing. I look at Zacky who's got his head in his hands.
"I'm so sorry Abigail. I didn't mean to start drama at our wedding." He runs his hands threw his hair.
Lilly runs to us crying. Zacky holds her.
I take the mic.
"EXCUSE ME!!! Be Quite." They quite down.
"Thank you. I have something to say. Despite everything, I married my husband because I love him. Because he's my daughters father, and because regardless he always loves me. And I agreed to let Gena come. Now thinking it wasn't one of my best ideas. However aren't you all ashamed at how you treated MY GUEST at MY WEDDING?" I pause.
"Abigail Seriously?"
"Wednesday shut it!" She glares at me.
"You know what. Thanks for coming. Have a good night. I am leaving."
I drop the mic and run to the exit. I climb in the limo.
"Leave please, I don't care where just go."
"Are you sure Mrs. Baker?"
"Yes I'm sure! Just go around the block a few times."
He nods doing what I ask. My phone booms with several text messages.
'Ab's I'm sorry.' -jimmy
'I'm sorry plz forgive me?'- Weds
'Babe...where are you? xxoo' -Zacky
'We're sorry. from our hearts. the avenged crew'- matt and jason berry
'I'm sorry plz come back, we'll leave tonight come get me.'
I sigh and lay down. The driver looks at me.
"Mrs. Baker...It's been a half hour...your husband is waiting on the steps."
"Pick him up..."
"Finally. I was so worried Abby. You never answered me. I thought you left me forever."
"Sorry."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
