LEXI GRAFF - party

i walked into my house and cleaned up a few things. devyn and kat were both with me, and everyone else will be coming in any second.

"i really hope sam and colby get along." kat said as she sat on the couch.

"they will, sam and i had a talk. he wants to make things better."

"wait you talked with sam?" kat asked. "maybe that's why he doesn't talk bad about colby anymore."

"yeah, he said he wanted to get along with colby. make things easier." i smiled.

"that's so exciting." devyn said.

"it is, it really is." i smiled.

my doorbell rang like 40 times before sam, corey and aaron came inside.

"thanks for the small headache." i playfully rolled my eyes.

aaron laughed, "anytime."

COLBY BROCK

"mom, i'm leaving!" i yelled walking out the front door. she knew where i was going, i just knew she would ask more questions.

i hopped into brennen's car and he took off. "guys i'm not excited." i told them

"don't think about sam, think about lexi." jake said.

"honestly, lexi just want's to hang with you, i mean yeah she want's you to get along with sam, but for the most part, we all know she is more excited to be able to hang with you." brennen said.

i smiled to myself. i have no idea if brennen is right, but it was a good thought to have.

"we are here." brennen said.

as he said that my throat got heavy and i got nervous. sam was in there, he could do anything he wanted to, to hurt me and not get into any trouble for it because we aren't on school grounds.

us three got out of the car and walked up to the door. jake rang the doorbell and the door swung open. it revealed aaron with lexi standing behind him.

"hey. come in." aaron said.

brennen and jake walked in while i walked in behind them. i instantly saw sam and he gave me a soft smile. wait what?

"okay, pizza will be here in 45 minutes, for now, i say we play some 'just dance' on the wii."

"wait, you still have a wii? no way." brennen said, he was intrigued.

"yeah, my dad keeps everything game wise." she smiled.

lexi got the wii set up and i was sitting on the couch by kat, aaron on the other side of me.

lexi was dancing right along side brennen and everyone was laughing and taking videos.

i watched lexi, the way she moved while dancing, the way her head would fall back every time she laughed. she would even look back at me every so often. every time she would she would smile at me. she was so great.

after 2 rounds of brennen and lexi dancing, the doorbell rang.

"quick, kat take my spot, beat brennen for me." lexi laughed running to the door. after kat left her spot, it left a gape between sam and i.

don't look at him. don't look at him.

"pizza is in the kitchen!" lexi yelled. everyone raced to the kitchen. i slowly got off the couch and started to walk to the kitchen but i was stopped.

"hey, uh, colby." i heard sam say.

oh no.

"um, yeah?" i turned around.

"look i know that this is not gonna make up for anything that i have done," he started.

is he gonna apologize?

"but, i'm sorry, for everything. lexi told me what happened last year, she told me how i almost made you end your life, and i, i," he actually started to tear up.

how did lexi know about last year?

"sam, you don't have to.." he cut me off.

"i do have to. see my sister got bullied so bad a few years ago and she tried to commit suicide as well, she was pretty close to dying. i found her in the bathroom, she was full of blood, her own blood. when lexi told me about you, i knew i fucked up. i had to change my ways. i don't want to make anyones life miserable. so again, i'm sorry, very fucking sorry."

i was speechless. what was i supposed to say. sam was crying, in front of me. he just apologized to me. me? like the kid he hates. maybe lexi was right, maybe he is a good guy.

"it's okay sam. i mean yeah, i hated you, but i also didn't know you. i know you now, you're a good guy. and yeah, there is still that small like 'fuck you sam' but i'll get over it." i said sending him a small smile.

"thank you, colby." he smiled back.

"i betcha $20 they are all listening right now." i told sam which made us both laugh.
