A fairytale within a dark and ominous nightmare.
No one knew about us.
The lost, the broken, the forgotten.
No one should fear us; we should fear you.
Why? Because our greatest power is our own fear.
The sight of the blood flooding out of man wasn't something anyone was expecting, nonetheless Scarlett.
She didn't know what happened or how it happened, all she remembered was the flicker of those once bright eyes fade away like the night sky.
Even then the stars never seemed to shine so bright as of right now; she never thought her eyes would be the first to glimpse at something so horrible. She was oblivious to the far worse possibilities of the real world.
She was happy back then where kids like her played on the streets, singing their ancient songs and drawing along the high tech walls. Now? All she sees is dying nations in need of help.
Help they could give.
Help that could change the world.
The only thing is... Scarlett is afraid of change.
