The First

Chapter 1

*******************Hunter point of view *************

Werewolves, are interesting creatures, half human half animal.  We are beast, beast that are feared and respected, we are shapeshifters, we are power, we are nature, we are life. That is what we were thought in school. That's is what we believe in and that is what we lived by. 

School has always been a drag for me, I love to learn, but I hate that we have to spend eight hours sitting down getting ready for tests, test that as soon as I take, the information evaporates. 

I was heading to class, this class I look forward too, it shows us the history of our ancestors, those who fought for us, it teaches us what we can do, it teaches us who we are. Todays topic was one I always loved to hear about. I have always founded so interesting, not just the topic, but I have always found her interesting. 

"Class, please sit and quiet down, today we will be learning about Althea. " The professor spoke, as soon as her name was altered, the class erupted with whispers. Everyone loved Althea history, it was interesting, different form everyone else's. It was refreshing compare to this political and laws stuff. She was different, she was ruthless yet loving, she was adventures, and caring, yet she could be the worst person you could meet. 

"Class I said to quite down, please." Spoke the professor on last time before he started the story we all loved and knew. " A long time ago, The First 6 were formed, the goddess and the gods created shapeshifters, witches, and blood thirsty vampires. There was two of each. the shapeshifters were Victoria Alvarez and Michael Ainsworth, the witches and warlock were Aubrey Lee and Christina Wells, then there is the blood sucking vampires, Caroline Paxton and   Jacob Knight. Each of them had a mate, all humans, expect for Victoria and Jacob, for them were both mates. Back then because they were the first, they didn't know what a mix of our kind could do. They didn't know that they would create one of the strongest beings their is. Before they were able to mate though, they went through hell because the other fives did not think it was fair that they were mated to weak humans and Victoria and Jacob were mated to each other. They tried to separated them, to break them apart, they summon the goddess and the god of their creation and tried to break them apart but it didn't work. Jacob and Victoria left, hid away, far off in mountains far from civilization, or what was civilization in does times. They mated and created a beautiful baby girl name Althea. " The teacher took a pause for effect looking around the room for any questions or well so see if people were still up. When he saw that everyone was paying attention, he continued. 

"Althea, is a wonder, indeed she is. It was hard to accept her at first do to her being a hybrid, but they accepted her. or so her parents thought. Victoria and Jacob decided it was time to show Althea to their world.  Caroline was really opened minded to Althea, she actually took care of Althea after her parents died. All the others were afraid and envious of the powerful little girl, a shapeshifter and a blood sucking vampire. The fear, the hatred and the blindness these people had led to a war, a war that was not at all fair, it was a like fifty against four. Victoria and Jacob were outnumber, they fear for their little girl, their little Althea. They decided to sent her away with Caroline, protected her with everything they had, gave their life's to the little girl who now is some we love and worship. " Silence feel the room, everyone knew this story it was something that was told in campfires, something that brought families together, yet everyone always pays attention to every single detail of it. 

"Is it true that Althea has gone missing? That no one has seen or heard of her in years?" Questioned a girl by the front that was about to jump of her seat. 

"Yes it is true that no one has heard of her in a while." Professor Chambers said while standing up and heading to the door. As soon as the girl open her mouth to question something the teacher answer. 

"No I do not believe she is dead, she will come to us one day. " As soon as professor Chambers said that the bell rang and she walked out.  Sinces that day no one talked about Althea, because we were afraid of the answer everyone thought about. 

***********Three Years later******

"Hunter there was another girl captured, from the neighboring pack. It looked more like her now." My soon to be beta James said to me while running inside the pack house looking like a maniac. 

"How many has it been this month?" these capturing's are becoming a more frequent thing and I am getting tired of them. 

"It has been five already. The thing is that there is not trace of them. There is no scent, no blood, no clue as to who it could be or what." James responded 

"Has any body been found?" I question hoping that the answer was no so that there was a slight chance that these poor girls were still alive but another chances that they are not and are just being disposed in some other way.

"No sir." He quietly responded. I stayed quite. I did not feel like responding, I couldn't. Even though they are not my pack members I still cared.  After minutes of silence I decide to break it. 

"Do you think this has to do with the fact that no one has seen or heard of her? "  I asked fearing the answer.

"Yes, I do, I believe they, whoever is behind this, is trying to drag her out." He responded. 

*********Leah Point of View************

"It is time we awake her, this has been going on for to long, she wont be able to live with herself if more of them go missing. We need to wake her up. NOW." Leah angrily said to her twin sister Lina.

"After everything she has gone through she only asked us to keep her asleep, locked  away till a million of years have passed, it hasn't even been five hundredth years yet. If we wake her up she will still not be herself. She will probably murder us. " Lina fire back to her sister while trying to grab her arm, and pull her back.

"She wont murder us, she will thank us for bringing her back, because I know she cares about the fact that innocent girls are going missing." Leah said pulling her hand away and walking forward to gigantic silver door in front of them. she put her hand in the keyhole and something came out and pinched her, drawing blood from her finger and opening up the door. They walked in, as always this intimating room was something they tried to keep away from. The huge sealings, craved with pictures of mythology and myths that adore the walls. What call their attention though was the gigantic casket in the middle of the room, both made out of silver and wood, poisoned with wolfsbane, yet it looked beautiful. So welcoming yet threatening. Leah approached the casket and pull on the beautiful gold chain around it, easily falling to the floor. she pull the casket door to the side and looked at what was inside. A beautiful yet threating living. Leah pull out some blood form her bag and but it open, put it towards  the body inside the casket and as soon as she did that, the beautiful green emerald eyes were brought out, eyes that once were full of life looked now dead, and threatening, once harmless, now pure evil. Leah looked into them and said... 

"Hello Althea, welcome back."
