Vita walked out of her room for breakfast.
"Shi! Wake up!" she shouted.
Shi walked upstairs, "I'm already up."
"Okay, then it's breakfast time," Vita said. "Today it's Fix Your Own Cereal Day."
Shi let out a small groan as they walked into the kitchen,
"Why?"
"'Cause you need to get your lazy butt moving."
"All we've been doing these past 100 years is sitting in our
house."
"Also, today is field trip day," Vita said. "We shall visit Earth
again."
"Yay, humans." Shi said sarcastically.
"Oh, it's been a hundred years, it's got to be better now. And
it'll be good to do things in person again," Vita said.
"I do sorta miss doing it in person," They paused for a second.
"Then again, they are the reason we stayed away."
"Plus we can get the latest video games and comics," Vita
bribed.
"Alright you got me, let's go!" Shi replied.
They snapped, and appeared somewhere in Arizona.
"I'll go to the comic store, and you go to the video game store
and we meet back here?"
"Yep." Shi ran off to the GameStop with the face of a kid on
Christmas
Vita did the same with the comic store.
Around an hour later Vita came out with what looked like half
of the stores' comic books, and went to meet Shi at the beginning point, the people around her stared like how the heck can you carry all that.
Shi was standing there with five bags of games, plushies, and figurines. "Alright, ready to go?"
"Yep." They walked to an empty area and snapped again,
nothing happened. "Huh?"
Shi tried, still nothing. "Well we are stuck here now."
"Opps," Vita tried. "Hotel?"
"Yep." Shi takes out their phone and points a direction. "That
Way."
"What is that?" Vita pointed at the phone
"It's called a phone. It's how they look at stuff nowadays.."
"Oh, okay, so what's this button do?" She pressed the home button. Then in dismay she asked "What happened to the directions?!?"
Shi gets back to google maps "I'll just hold onto this for now."
"Yeah," Vita said, embarrassed, and glad that nobody was
around to see her. "Where did everyone go?"
Shi shrugged. "How am I supposed to know. Let's just go get
our rooms."
"Two rooms," Vita told the desk person. His name tag said had
the name Tom on it, so Vita decided to call him that when she would speak his name.
"That's 50 each," Tom said. "You sure you ladies won't get
lonely tonight?"
"We will be fine." Shi said coldly while glaring at him.
"Oh, a hard one. And who might you girls be?" He asked.
"Is this necessary?" Vita asked. "This stuff is really piling up."
"It is not necessary, now just give us the cards and we will be
on our merry way." Shi looked at him with hatred.
Vita handed the money for him to put in the register. He took the
money, but only put half of it in the register. Shi looks at him a bit confused.
"You sure?" he asked trying to be seductive, but he did NOT know who he was talking to.
"I'm absolutely sure." Shi was looking a little pissed at this point.
"Are you going to put the money in the register?" Vita said purely.
Shi gave him a look that said don't push your luck
Tom looked at her like, ooo, fiesty.
Shi gave him a good slap in the face before leaving for the rooms. Vita hurriedly got the keys and went after them.
"God, men never changed." Shi said sharply.
"They might have even gotten worse over the years," Vita agreed.
Shi shrugged, "I think so."
They went into their separate rooms. Vita looked at the television on a cabinet, "Shi, what's this?" she yelled through the wall.
Shi sighed. "It's a tv, now shush I'm in the middle of a match."
"Is the tv like the phone? Can you watch movies on it?" Vita asked.
"Yeah." Shi replied.
"How?"
Shi goes over to Vita's door. "Lemme in."
"Okay," Vita opened the door letting Shi in. Shi walks in and shows Vita how to use the tv.
"Ohhhhh," Vita said.
"Now that you understand, I'm gonna get back to my game." Shi leaves.
"Thanks."
