A Perfect Stranger

I went out of the house to buy the vegetables mom told me . As I walked down the streets I thouht about my family and tried to make sense out of them saying.... I am powerful. I tried to think on any instances that should show that I am a vampire.

I went into the grocery shops and as I went buying some goods, I saw a mirror.

I walked towards the mirror and saw my pale body. I felt so weak. As I observed my body, I saw my neck. It was bare.

It felt so incomplete without the necklace Seth gave me. I always took the necklace with me whenever I went somewhere. That made me think he is always with me.

I took it out from my pocket and glanced at it. I was admiring the beautiful stone in it. Suddenly a body hit me and I fell down.

I opened my eyes and saw that there was noone. I got up myself. Suddenly I realised my necklace was not having the yellow stone. I searched everywhere but I was not getting it.

I was walking down the streets still searching for the stone. It was the only thing I had which made me remember Seth. I missed him. And I needed to return back as soon as possible . I wanted to see him and I can't go back unless and until I have found the stone. Josh once told me that for the entry in the house we need to show them our stones . So it was very essential at the time.

I don't know why but it got something imto my mind that I should check outside the shop also.

As I was looking down to check the path. A huge guy bumped into me. He had long blonde hair upto his neck. He wore a track pant and a fitted sweatshirts.

I said sorry and kept on finding my possession.

"Excuse me, but are you finding something.", he asked me.

"N-no..", I said. I did not want anyone to know that I am searching for a precious stone.

"Okay. But... I just think you are... because... um nevermind .. if you need help then tell me", he said and smirked.

"Fine."

He stared at me and waited for more response.
After 10 seconds , he was about to leave but then I called him.

"Hey!" , I shouted.

"Yes?", he looked back.

"I do need help. I am finding my ring's stone. Please help me find it.", I said putting up an worried expression.

"See, I knew you are finding something. Okay.... I will help... By the way what is it's colour?", he asked me.

"Y-yellow", I said as I kept my gaze down.

"Hm... okay.. let's find then.", he said.

"Yes", I said and started to walk.

"By the way I am Micheal. And you?", he asked.

"Jaycee.", I spoke.

"Okay", he said.

"Jaycee, when was the last time you saw your ring?",he asked as if he was a super detective.

"Today. When I was in the grocery shop.", I told him.

"Did you searched there?", he asked.

"Yes. But.. but it was not there.", I said as I looked down.

"Come here.", he said and I looked up to see him. Then I realised that we were standing infront of the grocery shop.

"Is it this?", he asked picking that shining yellow stone. Yes yellow stone!! My stone!!
