Changsub POV
I'm lying in our bed, eyes still closed but I'm already awake and aware of my surroundings, I can hear the creaking of the door as it is slowly being opened.
I stayed still, not moving, still trying to assess what is going on around me. I felt a movement at the foot of my bed, like something is crawling from below.
Slowly I felt something wet touched my face, I heard a faint laugh, I can hear a small voice closing in on me.
And then.
"Gotcha! Lee Changwook! You think you can jump on Daddy again ha?" I said as I jump up from my sleeping position to catch my mischievous son as he was about to jump on my tummy.
"Daddy!" Wookie screamed while chuckling as I tickle his tummy with my nose.
It's been Wookie's hobby to jump on me in the morning, there are times I'm really tired that I want to complain, but when I open my eyes and see my son's mischievous grin, my exhaustion disappear. I guess all parents feel the same, seeing our children happy is enough energy booster to keep us from facing anything the world throw at us.
I got up from the bed after a few rounds of tickling and bed rolling with Wookie. I picked up my favorite son under my arm as he giggled on our way out of the room.
I found my precious little princess sitting on the couch brushing the hair of her doll, the one Hyunsik gave her. She's back on liking her Hyunsik Samchon, because she has a new crush from school. How can she have a crush at her tender age of five is beyond me.
I put down Wookie and picked up Minah instead.
"Daddy! Put me down!" Minah screamed giggling as I swing her around our living room.
"Happy Birthday Sweetie!" I said kissing her forehead. Looking at her makes me emotional, up until now I still can't believe Chorong and I have created these two amazing human beings.
Time flies really fast, sometimes I feel like we are still rookies trying to find our footing in the cutthroat world of kpop music, not this middle aged couple who are juggling our daily lives as a parent to these two lovely kids and our careers as part of a long running kpop group.
It's Valentines Day, and it's also Minah's birthday. We actually celebrated her birthday two days ago as Chorong has to fly to Hongkong for an Apink's fanmeeting. She'll be back tonight.
Even though, we celebrated Minah's birthday early on, Chorong and I agreed to still have a celebration for Minah on her actual birthday even if its just me and the kids.
"Okay, common kids, on to the dining table." I commanded, as I herd my kids to the dining table to have their breakfast.
I can easily cook them meals nowadays, I know a thing or two in the kitchen but helping Chorong every now and then makes me confident enough to deal with the two of them alone.
I heat up the seaweed soup Chorong prepared for Minah as I cooked them tuna fried rice. Once done, I placed the food on their tray and make them eat.
"Wookie, don't play with your water." I said to Wookie in a firm voice.
"Yes Daddy!" Wookie answered with a grin.
I ready the rag I would need later on because he would definitely spill that water, which he did spill in less than five minutes.
"Lee Changwook!" I said to him in a serious voice, enough for him to know I am serious, but of course he just smile at me.
I tried not to laugh, because Chorong already told me, Wookie only does it when I am the one feeding him. It's like his way of making sure I gave him my attention and time whenever I am at home. He's actually mature from his age and only act mischievous when he's with me.
