In tradition, relationships are mostly seen as the man should provide, protect, and work for his wife and family.
The man has always been told to be the one to take care of the women because they were said to have more power.
Today, men are still often times portrayed as the "dominate" one, there for should be the main providers
but with all things, times change people and traditions.
Now there are
speeches,
rallies,
groups,
all empowering women to stand up for themselves, to demand the respect they deserve for their hard work to be acknowledged.I believe that for a relationship to be the most successful and healthy, both partners should be equally liable to provide for themselves and eachother
without a balance of the two cooperations, the scale will tilt, and the relationship will fall and crumble.
Tradition is a big thing to try to over power and to change
but when it comes down to who should be given more power, those traditions must change.
We don't get anywhere not agreeing on one thing or with someone with more than another, we require balance and equality to make our world work.
