Third person POV
"Seokjin we can't keep waiting up on your spies to give us information, we have to catch him by the end of the month."
The man glared down at the boy who was typing away some code on his laptop screen.
The tapping keys paused abruptly. He gulped.
"We'll catch him, I feel like we're close" Jin says, resuming his work.
"You've been saying that for the past six months! I honestly think that "feeling" of yours is completely wrong! " The man's voice rose as he slammed his hands on Jin's desk, his slender shadow towering over the boy.
The office was silent.
All eyes were on them.
Jin tensed as he could feel the eyes of his co-workers basically piercing holes through him.
He had to think of something, and he had to think fast. One wrong move and he could lose his job for all he knows.
But the truth was harsh.
The truth was nothing had been reported back to him for nearly a month now.
He was losing hope.
It almost seemed like the spies he'd sent out had forgotten about the mission at this point.
But he had to say something. Something to buy him some time.
"They reported something to me last night.." Jin trailed off and spun his chair around to face the man. He tried to regain his confidence but a sweat drop unknowingly started to form just beside his ear.
"They found a suspect but I am yet to receive any information regarding him, sir" he lied. His hands started sweating buckets.
"Then you better report that information tonight, understood?"
Jin couldn't help but flinch at his boss' tone
"Yes sir" he managed to squeak out.
"Good" the man replied. "And as for the rest of you... get back to work!" he yelled out making all the other employees jump in their seats before quickly resuming whatever it was they were doing.
Jin breathed a sigh of relief as the man left.
Sinking into his chair, he wiped his sweaty – and basically trembling – palms with a hand towel that had been resting on his work desk.
He just lied to his boss... He might lose this job after all.
Jin banged his head against the cushion behind him as he tried desperately to think of something.
But his sulking was quickly interrupted by a notification popping up on his phone.
