💎"OUCH!"
A little boy with light-peach skin was sitting down in a corner of an alleyway behind an orphanage. His clothes were ruffled and scuffed up, suggesting that his condition was forced upon him. A small group of people, that were a few years older than him, towered over the boy. The posse was led by a tall, moderately-muscular boy with bright orange hair and beaming freckles, which complimented his sinister grin.
"𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠!"
The boy looked up at the redhead with a great scorn in his amethyst eyes, which complimented his light wisteria hair.
"The only thing you've taught me is that you are intolerant, incompetent, and—" The boy was interrupted by a swift kick to the gut. The redhead boy laughed tauntingly along with his posse.
"𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡. 𝙐𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪—𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙧, 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨... 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙙𝙮𝙚𝙙? 𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡! 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪."
The redhead's words brought anger to his victim, as the little one picked himself up, and jump-kicked him directly in the groin.
"MY PARENTS ARE DEAD, YOU MUCK SNIPE!" the boy squeaked furiously, clawing at the redhead, before being pushed off by two members of his entourage.
"𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙜𝙪𝙮𝙨."The redhead began, angrily brushing off his bright red-and-white striped shirt. "𝙃𝙚 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚." He and his gang snickered ruthlessly as they sauntered off, complementing each other on their torture of the little orphan. The poor little orphan boy picked himself up and brushed off his bright green uniform."Darn that Ronald... I'll get him, one day-" He peered through his cracked spectacles and sighed, before staggering back into the orphanage
⁂
The orphanage was a nice enough building—it had a fairly modern palette, with a mix of a grassy green and a classy beige, and the furniture was nice enough. However, its inhabitants were not. The other orphans constantly taunted and teased the little boy with the purple hair, for he was much more different than the other kids. For one, he was 17, but had a stature of only 4"3—smaller than a lot of the elementary children. Another was his very unusual condition of being born with pastel-violet hair and eyes, along with his very soft, childlike voice.
The boy was constantly shunned by his fellow peers, always being picked last for any activities. Every time a new orphan entered the shop, the other orphans began to manipulate them into believing that the boy was a freak of nature, and not to be trusted at any cost. Due to the general young age of the orphans that entered, their sense of right and wrong had not been honed, so they were easily prone suggestion.
The boy's sole companion was a small, violet koala bear named Count Quirinius Quietgem, given to him by his parents before they perished. He clung onto that bear as long as he could. Despite his growing age, his loyalty to the bear, as a companion, remained just as strong as ever...
