My breath is heavy . I'm am very scared and hot tears are falling from my eyes.

I can hear the sound of footsteps is getting more close
"come out you little bitch , you know if I find you, the consequences will be more worse " he said in his creepy voice

and then I heard the door burst opened and I shouted

The pair of hands around me shaking myg body slowly, like trying to wake me up

I slightly opened my eyes ,I'm breathing heavily

and I see Mom is sitting beside me on my bed , hugging me tightly.

"it's okay baby I am here , you're okay " she said while trying to consoling me .

Huh it's mom. It's not him. I am here safe and alive, in my bedroom , in my mother's embrace.
I'm okay, everything is okay PHEW!!

I realized I still breathing heavily and all sweaty
" you okay sweetie " Mom asked while finally loosing her grip and cupping the side of my face with her hands.
" I'm okay mum " I said to her.
"Thank God it was just a dream" I sighed
"Again!.. sweetie you should.."I interrupted her before she could complete and said
" I am okay mum" I tried to assure her
"but sweetie " she tried to argue again
" Ugh.. Mum stop ..please not again " I argued while flinching and making cry noise.

"And what about your nightmares?
Why are they coming again?
I thought you said ,they stopped coming!
huh... so what is it now?? " she asked me anglrily but I can see concern in her eyes.
Feeling slightly guilty for lying to her but I don't want to make her worry.

"huh" mom's voice pulled me out of my thoughts
"are you listening to me or not ? where's your mind " she asked me
"uh sorry I think I zoned out for bit. What were you saying again ? " I asked her back.
she sighed and continue
"I was saying that you should again.. "I cut her speech again

and whined "mom please I don't want to hear it. Besides it's only 5 in the morning.
You should go and complete your beauty sleep or you will get dark circles, and I know how much you love them " I said but note the sarcasm in the last line because my mother loves herself head to toe . She can't stand any negative thing about her body

"okay fine " she yawned and finally gave in. I knew she couldn't win this argument with me, nobody can.

"And mom. " I stopped her before she leave the room
she turned around
"how did you get that mark on your neck " I reminded her
she looked confused I guess she didn't get what am I saying.

and she asked me "why? what are you saying? "

"This, the red mark on the left side of your neck . it looks like a bite mark. " I said while pointing at that mark .
