"I sure am, is that a problem?" he asked her while exiting the truck.
"Nope, where are we going if you don't mind me asking!"
"A place called Barra Rossa !" He says with a smile and she looks up at me with an even bigger smile. He helps her in first then me, once he was inside, I felt him glancing at me. That same glance that he's been giving me when they came into the café.
"You look beautiful.."
"Thank you, something simple. Didn't wanna overdress!" I expressed and he smirks.
"It looks perfectly fine for where we're going--" he then looks in his mirror as Giselle starts looking around.
"Sorry, just curious!" she said.
"It's okay, here, let me turn on some music for you!"
He turns the radio on for her, she started to bob her head a bit as I chuckled and he pulled off. He wore a simple white dress shirt with a pair of navy slim fit dress pants, there wasn't a jacket to complete the fit but his athletic physique was very appeasing. Maybe I should have worn something different, I wore a simple black bodycon with a nice shaw. I didn't wanna be too obvious that we were going out with anyone and I wanted to cover my legs.
The neighborhood atmosphere changes once you leave our neighborhood, you can tell because of the nice buildings and houses or the clean streets that we pass by. Giselle and I looked out the window and maybe one day we'll get this too.
The lights were brighter, my head till kind of hurts and so does the rest of my body but I'm healing day by day. He parked across the street from the restaurant, definitely never been here before. Giselle held my hand tightly as he opened the door for us, Adam was a great guy once but people change or maybe that's just how he always was.
"Bellucci.." he says to the host and we were guided to a window section of the restaurant, he pulled out my chair first then Giselle's chair for her.
"Thank you!" we both said in unison.
"You're both quite welcome!"
He sat across from us and, I couldn't help but try not to stare so much. Giselle looked at the kid's menu as I looked at the other, he let us order first then ordered his after.
"Can I call you Theodore or Theo?" Giselle asks.
"Whichever you'd prefer, my friends and family call me Theo!"
"I don't have too many friends, I'm hoping when I sign up for the baseball team Saturday that I'll make some new friends." she expressed to him and I smiled at her.
"You like baseball?" he asked and she nods her head yes.
"I like a lot of things, baseball, chess club, and Science, I also love to read comics and other books!"
"First, that's pretty awesome that you love all of that! Those are my favorite things too, especially baseball! Favorite team?"
"New York Yankees, you?" she asked him in return.
"I like the Mets!"
"Eh, I guess you're still okay!" she teased and I cover my face while trying not to laugh, he started to laugh as she smiles.
"Fair enough, what about your favorite comic?"
"Moongirl and the Devil Dinosaur, it's a 7 book series! I read them at the library, I've read them front to back! What about you?" They were getting along fine until Giselle nudges me, guess it was my turn.
"What about you, what do you like?" he asks me.
"I like pottery and different clay sculptures so art.."
