She breathed heavily as she sprinted through the Forrest. Many had already died, their blood painting the ground red. Squinting the woman ran holding her baby girl in her arms. Her daughter just blinked up at her, silent. "We're almost there sweetie, were almost there." The mother said.

A thud on the tree beside her made the mother jump. She heard another to her left. A knife landed in a tree right in front of her. 'Knifes. They were throwing knifes at her.' The mother reached into the shredded well of power in her before bringing out the last drops. Another knife flew but this time it landed right into the back of the mother. A silent scream ripped from her as she forced herself to Keep running. Her magic, in the form of a small dark fog, covered the assailant's face before he dropped to the ground, utterly lifeless.

The baby girl started crying quietly now, as if realizing what was about to happen. The mother ran right along a mountain side and into a little cave. She used the blood dripping from her back as ink, drawing pictures and words in a dialect that very few knew. Before long the blood turned green and her daughter was torn from her arms into the circle of marks. "There is someone who promised me they would protect you. I love you my sweet. One day you will come back sand avenge me. Please my love, live." The blood turned black and the girl was sucked into nothingness. Tears pricked the mother's eyes.

"Stop Amelia." A male voice said behind her. She laughed horsely, "Fuck you." She spitted. The mother turned pulling out a knife but it was to late, the axe was already embedded in her heart. Her scream could be heard from every corner of the Forrest.
