The date?

*A few days later*
Kara gets herself ready for the date but she just can't decide which dress she wants to wear. After two hours of struggling she decides to call Alex. Alex arrives in about 10 minutes at Kara's loft. "Seriously Kara? Again drama about a dress? Just wear that one you always wear to special occasions." Alex said a little annoyed because she was on her way to her own date with Maggie, her girlfriend. "Oh yes I totally forgot you had your own date tonight, sorry! Go go go!" Alex already left with Kara's first Go. Kara puts on her favourite dress and does her hair and make-up

Mike in the other hand was very quick with deciding about what he should wear. His hair was an other thing cause that was all messed up, but he could fix that in a few seconds. He looked into the mirror and said to himself "Mon-el of Daxam don't you dare to screw it up this time! Not with woman, not with this beautiful woman." He screwed up a few times by being not all human normal and stuff but he promised himself to be as human as he could this time.

Kara was on her way to the restaurant she and Mike were meeting. She decided to walk instead of flying because she didn't want to ruin her hair for this date. While walking her phone ranged, it was Cat Grant. "KERA! Where are you!? I need you to get me a latte, a salad and a grilled cheese for me, fries, a hamburger and a banana milkshake for my son. And well now!" Cat yelled at Kara. Kara sighed and explained about the date she had with Mike. Cat didn't care about all that and started yelling at Kara again. "Oh and you think I care about all that? No I don't Kera! Now get me my food and tell James to make some new pictures of Supergirl." Kara didn't want to lose her job so she went to Catco with a salad, a latte and a grilled cheese for ms Grant and fries, a Hamburger and a banana milkshake for her son.

after a half hour of waiting monel decided to call Kara "Hey uhm I'm waiting at the restaurant for a half hour now where are you?" Kara felt so guilty to Mike AKA monel. She totally forgot to call him. "Hey I'm so sorry that I forgot to call you but when I was on my way to our date my boss Cat Grant called me to get her stuff and if I didn't get her what she wanted she was going to fire me. I can leave in 10 minutes" Mike sighed "maybe it's better if we do it another time.."
Kara dropped a little tear cause she really wanted to go on a date with him. She answered 1 minute later but was still a little sad so she sounded sad. "But..."

Author's note: okay I know I'm not that good in making long chapters and I'm sorry about that. I'm also sorry that it took so long for me to upload a new chapter but I'm on vacation right now so it takes a little longer. I hope you understand that I'm more into spending time with my family this week. I hope you liked this chapter and this little cliffhanger. Bye X
