I'm waiting outside with Steve's best friend hoping this time they can recruit him, but I know what the answer will be. He is so eager to want to join the army he is making sure he's done everything before giving up. When he walked out of the building with a sad, frustrated look on his face I knew immediately what had happened.

"What did they say?" I asked the blonde guy who is my older brother.

"Exactly what you're thinking." He scoffed. "They think they are saving my life. They don't want my help even though I'm sure they need it." He said and brushed his shoulder against mine making his way through. "Lets go, we're going to be late for the movie." He said as he turned back to look at me. I said my goodbyes to Bucky and rushed to my brother's side.

"Are you okay?" I asked holding his hand.

"Yeah, I'm used to being rejected." He said monotone. "What's with you and Bucky?" My heart stopped at his question. "You two have been spending a lot of time together." He smirked.

"Well, yeah, because we are worried about you, always getting into fights." I chuckled and walked inside the cinema.

We arrived with seconds to spare and instantly an announcement on the war lighted up the giant screen in front of us. "War continuous to ravage Europe." Steve's eyes glowed. I know how much he wanted to help the country and it made me sad to see him like this. "But help is on the way." Images of young boys being in a training camp to go to war started to show. "Every able-bodied young man is lining up to serve his country." A little boy from around the age of six or eight was shown helping pick up bricks and rocks from fallen buildings. "Even little Timmy is doing his part collecting scarp metal. Nice work, Timmy!" I could see my brother was disappointed.

"Who cares?" A man a few rows in front of us yelled and Steve's eyes showed rage. "Play the movie already!"

"Hey, you wanna show more respect?" Steve whispered loud enough for the man to hear him.

"Meanwhile overseas our brave boys are showing the Axis powers that the price of freedom is never to high." The announcer on the screen kept talking.

"Let's go! Get on with it!" The same man yelled once again making everyone in the theatre uncomfortable. "Hey, just start the cartoon!" Steve leaned from his seat and clapped back to the irrespecutful man.

"Hey, you wanna shut up?" My older brother said to the guy with a tone of respect.

"Together with Allied forces, we'll face any threat, no matter the size." A tall man stood up from his seat and turned around to look at Steve then being the guy my brother is he stood up and gave him a glance of challenge so they took their problems outside to an alley. I followed them but when they were outside a man blocked my way.

"I'm sorry, doll, you can't go in there." He rested his hand on the side of the door. I heard my brother grunt and the sound of glass breaking. I tried to push the man away but he was too strong for me. "Go on, get out of here." He said and I turned around to leave but before I could walk away he smacked my ass, I slowly turned around to face him showing him a fake smile and kicked him in the balls.

"I advice you to never touch me again, sugar." I fixed my hair and opened the door to the alley to see Bucky in a green suit making the bully go away and leave Steve alone.

"Pick on someone your own size." The brunette boy said and the guy who was punching Steve tried to punch Bucky but he missed and our friend punched him in the jaw and kicked him in his butt making him run aways from us.

"Yeah, thats right, run away!" I yelled and fixed my skirt. "Wha-What is this?" I asked looking at James' outfit and I could tell he was baring some sort of bad news. He didn't answer my question and walked to help get Steve up.

"Sometimes I think you like getting punched." He extended his hand and Steve took it.

"I had him on the ropes." Steve wiped the blood on his mouth with the back of his hand. When he looked up at Bucky he realised he was wearing a uniform, the uniform he wanted to wear. "You get your orders?"

"The 107th." Answered cockily. "Sargent James Barnes shipping out for England first thing tomorrow." Steve nodded his head looking at his best friend from head to toe.

"I should be going." My brother said angry at himself for not being good enough to serve his country. I pulled out a handkerchief from my purse and gave it to Steve to clean himself up, he looked horrible. "Thanks, sis." He pressed the withe cloth on his lip and moaned from the pain.

"Come on, guys." The Sargent put one arm around Steve's shoulders and his other arm around my waist. "My last night! Gotta get you cleaned up." We all laughed but Steve's laugh was somewhat forced.

"Why? Where are we going?" I asked looking up at our cute friend.

"The future." He handed Steve a pamphlet of a presentation downtown Howard Stark is giving tonight. "Wanna bring a friend, (y/n)?" I frowned and he chuckled. "You know, for your brother." I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"Anyone you fancy, brother?" He looked at me confused. "Well, then I'll ask Camila."
